Get to know each other...

Nope. But I will be

Do any of your friends use drugs?

I’m finding it hard to think of any who even smoke dope. But then again, it’s not really common at all over here.

Do you know any martial arts?

No. Although two of my sons have taken tae kwan do, I could still kick their asses.

Have you ever walked through Central Park in NYC?

My SO wished she did, but doesn’t know any pot dealer around here.

Have you ever taken a life, human or animal, be it by accident or on purpose ?

ETA : OMG, ninjas !

Yes, I have killed a few small spiders on purpose. I suppose that counts?

Have you ever thrown up out of a hotel room window?

Hell, no, I’m much too classy for that.

(I wish these weren’t yes/no questions!)

Have you ever just thrown the rules to the wind and done something completely wrong?

Yes. In music (I play guitar) that’s one of the funnest things to do. I’m sure I break the rules in other ways, too, but I don’t think about it too much.

Have you ever put a penny (or a quarter, or a drachma, or a peso) on a railroad track and found it later squished by a train?

Just want to chime in and point out obviously you meant Arnold Stang, and yes.

No, and I’ve always wondered if that really works.

Do you plan to travel outside your country this year?

I’m really wanting to visit Canada or Tokyo but I’m really not sure yet. In reality, I don’t expect to do any foreign travel this year, but definitely next year… and the year after that… and… eh, you get the point.

Have you used a payphone in the last year?

I think I’ve used a payphone once, back in high school. So no, not for years.

Have you ever been backpacking?

It does work  All squashed into the railroad tracks.
I have been on one week long backpacking trips, to Ireland amongs other places.

Ever taken a cruise?

no
Have you been in a helicopter

Not flying, but I seem to recall stepping into one that was on display at a fair or museum. Oh yeah, I’ve also been on a ride similar to this one, but I doubt you had such a loose definition in mind.

To repeat a question overlooked due to simulposting:

Have you ever walked through Central Park in NYC?

Yes, a few years ago. Loved it.

Do you have a cat?

Multiple cats.

Did you ever collect comic books?

As a child. Some of them would be worth something now if I still had them.

Do you routinely set your alarm on your days off?

No. Saturday is usually my morning to sleep in, and I savor it.

Do you have any big plans for this weekend?

No big plans, just some smaller chores…so basically, no.

Do you worry or panic about your luggage when travelling by plane (“OMG what if my suitcase gets lost and I’m far away from home without spare clothes and stuff…”)?

Nah, not really. I carry all the important stuff in my hand luggage anyway.

Can you have just one drink?

Yes, and often do. One beer is usually all I want, or one shot of whiskey, although at other times, such as over the course of a long dinner with friends, I’ve been known to have two or even three glasses of wine.
