Gettin' Pumped to Kick Some Ass Songs--The Definitive Collection

Let’s get pumped to kick some ass! With youtube links, please. I’ll start:

  1. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
  1. Bound for Glory by Angry Anderson

Can’t do utube links but bodies by drowning pool

Stooges, Shake Appeal

I’m sorry, but I do not believe we can include this song in the Definitive Collection. It appears to simply be a punk rock song without any overt and explicit gettin’ pumped elements. And it’s not cheesy in the least (a song designed to get you pumped that is 100% not cheesy is extremely difficult and may not actually exist in the wild).

Please feel free to make another submission.

Oh, yeah, and: “America, Fuck Yeah”. Of course.

Real Wild Child by Iggy Pop?

I submit

the opening theme to orgazmo

Now You’re a Man by DVDA

“Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” by Toby Keith: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYiQhktxF-Y&feature=related

I win.

Godsmack - I Stand Alone
Godsmack - Straight Out Of Line
Godsmack - Alive
Godsmack - pretty much everything else…

A very appropriate one, being in the thread title and all: Kick Some Ass - Stroke 9

Hair of the Dog - Nazareth (“now you’re messing with a son of a bitch”)

But … but … that riff …

Okay, how about Nashville Pussy, I’m The Man? (All I could find was a shitty VHS transfer of a live performance with two songs on it - skip ahead to 2:40)

How about Heather Alexander March of Clambreadth?
After hearing that song all I want do is kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I am all out of bubblegum.

I want to add some Eminem:

Lose Yourself
Not Afraid

And one that might not seem obvious to you guys, but it has kept my spirits up these past few months:
Soldier of Love by Sade

Short and odd, but pumpy:

It’s Showtime! by Electric Six

Meat Loaf Like a Rose, with Jack Black. Funny and kick ass!

“Flirtin’ with Disaster” by Molly Hatchet.

Yes, it’s the usual “being on the road is hard song,” but, boy, it can get you going if you like the whole southern rock genre.

If you don’t, there’s always “Highway to Hell.”

Face 2 Face - I Won’t Lie Down – I chose that specific video for a reason. You don’t get more ‘pumped to kick ass’ than that.

Jump Around - House of Pain

Anything by Rage Against The Machine

To change up the genre a bit I would submit Lose Yourself from Eminem

Minor Threat - Out of Step
Black Flag - Rise Above
Black Flag - My War

More:

Orchid - Destination: Blood!
Circle Jerks - Live Fast, Die Young

Thread over.
