My favorite exchange on the show…
Flint, Gung-Ho and Scarlet have crashed on a cobra island (not THE Cobra Island from the comics). They are cutting their way through the jungle looking for the cobra base. Flint hacks away some vines and they see the mamoth castle in the distance.
Scarlet: Ain’t that the luck of the irish.
Flint: Yeah, but I’m not irish.
Gung-ho: And that castle is definitely not kosher.

Duke: Didn’t you read my green sheet? ‘Man of action’.
Serpentor: No! Toss him in with the Joes so they can see their fate.

I just picked up a copy of The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994. 250 or so pages of 3-3/4" figure, vehicles and playsets in full color. Amazing. Thus, I feel like starting a G. I. Joe appreciation thread. However, why start a thread when I can hijack a thread other fans have probably already subscribed to? Don’t complain, or I will hit you with a spike-covered football, which I have combined with a flail.
