As with my Betty/Veronica poll, you can apply whatever criteria you wish. You don’t have to assume that you’re on the island, or that you’re a character from the show. For example, you could imagine that they were rescued and have settled in your neighborhood.
Why you’re choosing, or what you’re choosing them for, is up to you. It could be that you’re picking a romantic partner—but maybe you just want a friend. Maybe you dream of an idyllic life on a farm with Mary Ann. Or perhaps you want Ginger to give your screenplay to a director. It doesn’t matter! Stop asking questions and pick one!
If you don’t know who Ginger and Mary Ann are, do as a former POTUS suggested and use the Google.
There’s no accounting for taste, but I just can’t see preferring the Ginger portrayed on G.I. over the Maryann portrayed there. That whole Hollywood starlet, high maintenance look is just a turn-off to me.
I voted Mary Ann but then I went and looked at some old Tina Louise pics. You’re not wrong.
However, the poll is Ginger vs Mary Ann and not (any era) Dawn Wells vs Tina Louise so I stand by my choice as I liked Mary Ann better and thought she was cuter on the show. Between the two actresses at their ‘prime’, it would be a much harder choice and I may flip.
Ginger. Never been a question for me. I mean, I’m not gonna kick either out of bed these days for eating crackers (I mean, were I single), but I’ve always been a Ginger fan from my on-the-cusp-of-pubescence-days, so no matter how much Mary Ann has been the favorite for the past few decades, I’m a Ginger man through-and-through.
Mary Ann. Besides being prettier (to my tastes, ymmv), she was also an absolute freak in bed. And was just plain more pleasant to be around when not engaged in being my lust receptacle, 'cause it’s not always about just the sex, you see.
