A letter writer to Dan Savage’s Savage Love column claimed that females don’t have taints, only males.
I’ve never heard this of distinction being made. Is it true?

BTW, the page linked to above contains no work-unsafe images, but it does contain words of a sexual nature, such as taint, pubes, semen and the like. So if your workplace is anal about such things, don’t go there.
I always thought it was only females who have taints, so called because “'Tain’t one and 'tain’t the other”.
Men have gooches.
They both do have perineums.
Unless I’ve been misled lo these many years, the “taint” is the perineum. Both men and women have a perineum. If women don’t have them, it’s going to be quite a surprise to all the millions who have had one tear, or cut for an episiotomy, during childbirth, to only now discover that they are mutuants.
“Mutuants” being even worse than “mutants.” They’re mutants with perineums, naturally.

Are you the same guy who used that line in a childbirth class? Didn’t go over too well, as I recall.
When I first read this I didn’t see the word “line.” That gave me a whole different mental image of the childbirth class in question.
Say it taint so!
I thought the same thing when I saw that letter. Didn’t seem right…and since when I looked it up one of the definintions that came up was “The thing that allows you to hold a woman like a six pack”…I’d say it refers to that Special Place on both men and women.
Can someone give or link to a definition of “taint” or “gooch”?
