Girl here - and my brain tends to muck things up for me too If I’m having a sex dream and in RL I have my period in the dream all of a sudden I’ll stop because I have my period and shouldn’t be letting things progress as they are. Then I’m arguing with myself while semi asleep - “it is a dream I can do anything” - “no you can’t” - truly kills the wonder of the experience.
I usually only have them when I’m not getting regular sex though so I don’t have them all that often. When I was pregnant - oy!
I have them randomly now, but when I was pregnant, they happened quite often.
The only bad thing is that they always involved people I went to junior high with. I haven’t seen any of them in years and never thought of them sexually, so it was odd.
I’m a guy, and I’ve never had a wet dream. At most, I’ve had a small handful of vaguely erotic dreams, probably less than ten in my entire life (I’m twenty-eight, now.) Never had anything even close to an actual, full contact sex dream.
Can’t figure out why, either. Lord knows, my libido is hyperactive enough when I’m conscious.
Well, they’re basically just a way for the body to get rid of semen and pent-up horniness naturally, right? So it would seem that regular sex and/or masturbation could prevent them from occurring very often. Then again, if those don’t apply to you, maybe you’re just an anomaly.
It happened to me once, on a holiday in a tent, when I was 18. I remember because my friend woke me up. “You were all moaning and panting” she said worriedly, “I thought you had a nightmare or something.”. Boy, whas I embarrased!
At the time my friend woke my up, my erotic dream had progressed beyond “setting the scene & introducing the main characters”. It had reached a climax, in that I was running down some stairs faster and faster. (Sorry, what is erotic is different for everybody)
What was so odd was that I wasn’t stimulating myself in any way. My body just did a “look Ma, no hands !” all by itself.
I haven’t had these dreams since, and I am 36, but that might be due to a regular sexlife ever since, as the other women in this thread have suggested.
Now you guys make me feel deprived. I did have a dream once making love to Marilyn Monroe (when she was still alive) under an upside down kitchen table floating on a swimming pool. However I never achieved orgasm.
you have orgasms… in your sleep??? whines
no fairrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
I’ve had like 6 sex dreams in my entire life. The only possible outcomes are 1) I’m being fucked really well and wake up just as the words “I’m going to come” enter my mind, or 2) I wake up the millisecond before penetration. WHEE. :smack:
Me too, me too! I can honestly say that I have done exactly what I would do if I woke up a man- in my sleep. Good enough for me!
I have sex dreams constantly. I have orgasms, but they don’t wake me up. Unlike a few others who’ve posted, though, I hate being touched when I wake up from one. As much as I love 'em, my dreams are usually pretty creepy too.
I have been having quite a few dreams like this recently. A fun way to wake up, no doubt.
What does worry me, though, is that my “dream partner” is a guy from the office who does a really good impression of “I hate Sinshine.” I do not have any issues with him that I can’t leave at the office, because we do not work closely with one another at all, and he is never less than perfectly polite.
It’s somewhat jarring to get the “I hate you” vibe from him when I have had such an intensely erotic dream about him that same morning.
I’ve awakened in the middle of an orgasm a few times, but I have never remembered the dream. I’ve always gotten the feeling, though, that the dreams themselves were not sex dreams. I can’t remember now, but it seems like when I wake up, I can still remember vague little bits of the dream, and it’s not remotely erotic.
I’ve woken up a few times feeling exceptionally aroused, although the dream I was having was in no way sex related whatsoever. There has been the odd occasion however, when I’ve woken up feeling as if I’ve just orgasmed. Can’t remember (even at the time) the context of what I’ve been dreaming, but its certainly an interesting way to wake up.
Funny this thread should appear tonight! I almost never have sex dreams (damn it!) and almost never dream about famous people. Last night, let me tell ya about last night!
I should preface by saying my darling SO has been away for over a week.
I had TWO insanely hot sex dreams last night. One was the proverbial handsome stranger. We met, we did ‘the thing’, he took the last train (really) out of town. It was terribly romantic.
The other sex dream featured Spike, the vampire from Buffy (and Angel). Now, I used to think he was pretty hot, but now, as far as I’m concerned, we’re engaged.
I woke up feeling quite happy, and also somewhat guilty.
