I think the point was that if Jar wanted an x-ray, the docs would make absolutely sure she wasn’t pregnant first, thus giving her some peace of mind. The bad part about this scenario is that Jar would have to purposefully strain her ankle or something first.
Hang in there, jar. The symptoms you’re describe don’t sound that different than stress-related anxiety. The body’s a funny thing, and (as I’ve recently discovered) background stress or, in your case, more obvious and immediate stress can cause every single one of the symptoms you’ve described. (Don’t know about the breast pain, but sounds PMS. My SOs breasts get very tender at that time of month.) I wouldn’t call it symptoms of a hysterical pregnancy, but rather an anxiety attack. Judging by your stress and concern over the issue, I’m willing to wager that’s what it is.
Nothing more to add, just God bless.
My mother never got a positive urine or blood test with me. She went in because she wasn’t having a period, was having all the symptoms she had with my brother, and the home tests said she wasn’t pregnant. Well, the two lab tests they did were negative also, but a quick pelvic exam confirmed that she was about 3 months along. So no, blood tests are NOT definitive. Not always.
