Giuliani rejects Alwaleeds money, but does he have the moral highground?

Also, I believe the total I saw for the amount of money publicly pledged was $950 million. Which is almost 100 times the prince’s donation. Which is more than enough to keep every victim (even including the 7,000 or whatever injured) solvent for a month or two. Or at the very least, that last 1% isn’t going to break them.

And that’s not even counting insurance benefits.

I rescind my point, as if the Prince truly wanted the money to go somewhere he would donate it, or even set up his own fund. He could get the money where it needed to go and Giuliani could not stop him. So I guess there is a point there. Though I am not going to claim that the 2000 is worth the statement because I am just not in that position.

The Saudis and their Wahabbist clerics are as much to blame as the Taleban for the atrocity in New York. How revolting. Their money cannot and should not buy a penny’s absolution for the crime against humanity that has been perpetrated by the perverted lunatics the Saudis have helped to breed. They seek to buy off blackguards like bin Laden with one hand as they profer their filthy lucre with the other. May they rot in Hell.
