When I voted, I don’t believe I caused the tie. If my memory is correct, Suburban Plankton did. I admit I could be wrong on this… I’m trying to post at work. What’s more, singling me out for voting whom I at the time found scummiest, when a whole flurry of votes and unvotes actually caused the situation, seems odd.
I don’t have time now to find another target. Tom Scud struck me early on, but that case was built on a single event, and I’m not feeling it after his subsequent posts. Guiri’s posts gave me a gut feeling against her, and her response has been troubling.
This bothers me as well:
Once again, if you think I’m scum, VOTE FOR ME. I don’t understand why people vote for one person, but find somebody else more suspicious. In this case, why vote for me if you want Pleonast dead?
I honestly don’t have a second target at the moment, now that I’ve unvoted MentalGuy. I was looking at Astral, but I’m sufficiently convinced by his latest post to hold off further examination of him until tomorrow. Like Astral, Tom Scud has pinged me a couple of times, but I don’t really have time to go back over his posts before the Day ends. And I’ve already explained why I’m no longer voting for Pleo.
At the moment, then, I’m content abstaining. I’ll give it some more thought, but I doubt I’ll change my mind before the Day ends.
NETA: I share sachertorte’s skepticism of MentalGuy’s claim, and I also agree with his more recent analysis of why MentalGuy being scum might not be the worst thing in the world at this point. I look forward to seeing what happens toNight when the dust clears toMorrow.
sachertorte’s quote is missing, but I think I’m in the same boat.
Vote: Astral
I’ll put my vote back on you, but I also approve of the Pleonast lynch. I think you’re scummier. I’d rather see you lynched, but that doesn’t mean I’m against a Pleonast lynch.
I just don’t have time here at work to build a case I’m comfortable with. I haven’t gotten a chance to go back and reread the key people I’m suspicious of. I’m gonna have to end this day with a no vote as a result.
For bookkeeping purposes: I’m no longer as suspicious of Tom Scud, but I’d really like to go and reread his participation today. Guiri still seems somewhat suspicious, but I base that on almost no case whatsoever. Again, a reread is in order. Zeriel has been pinging me for various posts, but I’m unable to build a case there, either.
Guiri and Zeriel are my two big picks here on Day 1. I suspect there’s a chance I could be vigged tonight, as a lot of folks are suspicious of me. If I’m dead tomorrow, I’d hope someone would follow up on one of those two leads.
