Ha! Ha and Ha! I say!
Yes, you’re very smart. Now shut up.
[/Columbo]
or something like that…
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
woo woo go town!
nice
Will the next Day end on Saturday at 7 PM ET?
Manly, yes, but I like it too
lies! lies! lies!
Here’s some cool Cassini imagery while we wait:
Hmm, some bodies.
Astral Rejection, Vanilla Town is dead.
pedescribe, Scum Godfather is dead.
It is now Day 5.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, if the day does not end before March 18 at 11 pm, then the day will not end until March 20th at 7pm. (All times in eastern).
Today’s Hammer is 9.
Wow!
Most excellent!
Yes!
Scum got a Vanilla. The godfather is dead.
Investigation results, Mental Guy?
also, what’s the claim. I remember being first on Mahaloth’s list.
woot the fracking woot.
Investigation result: Special Ed is Town.
If I am laying down the edict, I say we go with the vanilla or non claim. I don’t know which is better, but this one is easier to enforce, since if anyone refuses, we can make them a target.
Well, that’s comforting.
Oh, and not only am I Town, I am Not Vanilla as well.
Wow. I’m fairly certain that scum simply cannot win. I’ll have to do some math to be sure, but with the death of the Godfather, all investigations by MentalGuy are pure gold.
Our Confirmable List:
MentalGuy (Cop)
Doc
Vig
Mahaloth
Mason2
Mason3
== 6 confirmables
1 Claimed Vanilla (me)
4 Unclaimed Vanilla (I think this is true, we had thought it was three but SP and pedescibe make a +2 and Astral makes a -1).
2 scum
So thats 6 confirmables versus 7 unconfirmed.
If MentalGuy has investigated a SINGLE Vanilla Town, then we would have 7 confirmables and 6 unconfirmed.
In this case I would push for a mass claim to end the game by force:
case 1:
scum both claim vanilla - We lynch Vanilla. Vig kills Vanilla. Doc investigates Vanilla (They can even announce before Night). Result is either a dead Doc, Vig or Cop. Assume the worst Dead Cop. then we have 4 unconfirmed and 6 confirmed. We lynch and Vig unconfirmed to force a WIN.
case 2: one scum claims a Power, one claims vanilla - I think searching the counterclaim is optimal here. Worst case, lynch one vig the other. It isn’t as clean as case 1 since after a full claim we have an exposed Doc and Vig and Cop to try and protect. So lets assume we lynch Town and the Vig tries to kill the scum but dies instead (I think that is worst case). Cop and Doc live so we wake up with 5 confirmed + 1 new investigation of Vanillas to yield 6 confirmed and 5 unconfirmed. Again we can simply lynch and investigate the unconfirmed pool to force a win.
case 3: both scum claim a power - worst decision EVER by scum. All Vanillas plus uncounterclaimed powers are now confirmed. 4 unconfirmed versus boatload of confirmed. We win by force.
Mass claim baby!
Or scum can simply give up. They can’t win… like at all.
On Preview: It looks like MentalGuy investigated a Town Power. I can see why MentalGuy didn’t investigate me as it was possible (though improbable by my estimation) that I might die. Oooh so close. I still think we can force a win. I’ll have to recalculate though.
BTW. Special Ed very much should NOT reveal his actual role until after a mass claim (if it happens) happens. The reason is simple. It is quite possible that scum could try and pick the role that Special Ed has. In this case we would catch a scum instantly.
