I’m vanilla.

I was hoping that would be:

I’m vanilla too!

Go team! You guys are doing a fantastic job!

I’m one of Mahaloth’s buddies

So, everyone has claimed and, if my list is correct. both Scum claimed Vanilla.

I see no mathematical way the Scum can win now. I also see no need for Zeriel or myself to indicate which role we have.

Ha! Me too!

Right, OK. I actually can’t understand why the Scum haven’t conceded/the game hasn’t been called yet. Since it hasn’t, though:

vote Manwich

Based on the discussion outlined in #1193. I’d ultimately be happy with a lynch of any claimed vanilla, including myself (though I’d prefer not that). I’d rather not lynch sachertorte.

I further suggest that any claimed power role simply name a target for the Vig and a target for the Cop for toNight. They should be different players, both from the vanilla pool, and the Vig and the Cop should definitely adhere to the suggestion to avoid overlap. The Doctor can choose to protect either the Vig or the Cop at the Doctor’s discretion.

vote gad.

just because.

and if the game doesn’t end before toNight please pick story as my target. i’ve never been successful in getting him lynched and this may be my one shot to actually kill him.

serial sk involved in mano a mano against blam, a one shot NK to determine alignment by the side the kill was on and a miller doctor. yeh, i’d say we have some unfinished bidness.

or as has been previously noted sach for the whole vanilla town wwotw thingie.

I don’t actually remember why you keep voting me, peeker, but feel free to target me tonight now that I’m a claimed vanilla; I won’t mind.

Here’s my WAT (Wild Ass Theory):
Storyteller and another one or two people are scum and they haven’t conceded yet because they still think they can win the game, either by being wrong in their math or knowing something Town doesn’t (like Town being wrong about the numbers or a certain fact that is being publicly said and agreed upon).
My proof: Absolutely nothing but this quote, which strikes me unlike any other I’ve ever seen as something that scum would obviously never, ever, ever do or say…thus, it would be the most clever thing to say as scum.

Weak, maybe, but there you have it.

Vote Storyteller

The only other person I’m suspicious of is Zeriel who is who I’d have guessed is a scum buddy of Story if he had not claimed a role. Do we know, for sure, that all the power roles left are Town?

i don’t either but i must have had some sort of reason at some point in time.

Unless the Moderator lied to us, then yes, we do.

Your vote is very weird, and possibly Scummy.

But you raise a valid point. Is there a way, any way, assuming that we follow the plan we’ve discussed strictly, that Scum can win? I’m going to give myself today (not toDay, literally today) to run as many possible scenarios as I can and see if there’s a back door anywhere.

Scummy? Well, I’m sure that’s of one’s own opinion. But I don’t see how it can be weird when you consider the fact that nothing should ever be said as “scum would never do that”.

Your post, to me, just reeks as “scum would never try that…so scum is trying precisely that”.

That doesn’t follow. By that logic anything is a Scum tell other than things that are actual Scum tells.

Meh, it’s no big deal. Why argue at this stage?

I have no concrete evidence, but my gut wants me to

I am getting a scum vibe

Assumptions:

  1. It is currently 11-2 (Town:Scum).
  2. Six players are currently unlynchable, and 7 are lynchable.
  3. Town will not lynch, and peeker will not kill, anyone from the claimed subset of power roles.
  4. Scum will not kill anyone from the claimed subset of vanilla roles.

Scenario 1 – We lynch a Vanilla toDay (Day 0)
END OF DAY 0: 10-2 (6 unlynchable, 6 lynchable)

Scenario 1A

• Scum kill Doctor Night 0. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Town. Cop investigates one lynchable and confirms Town (END OF NIGHT 0: 8-2 [6 unlynchable, 4 lynchable])
• We lynch a Vanilla Day 1 (END OF DAY 1: 7-2 [6 unlynchable, 3 lynchable])
• Scum kills Cop Night 1. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Town. (END OF NIGHT 1: 5-2 [5 unlynchable, 2 lynchable]). NOTE: both remaining lynchable players are Scum.
• We lynch Scum Day 2 (END OF DAY 2: 5-1).
• Scum kill Vig Night 2 (END OF NIGHT 2: 4-1).
• We lynch Scum Day 3 (END OF DAY 3: 4-0) – Town wins!

Scenario 1B

• Scum kill Doctor Night 0. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Town. Cop investigates one lynchable and finds Scum (END OF NIGHT 0: 8-2 [5 unlynchable, 5 lynchable])
• We lynch Scum Day 1 (END OF DAY 1: 8-1 [5 unlynchable, 4 lynchable])
• Scum kills Cop Night 1. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Town. (END OF NIGHT 1: 6-1 [4 unlynchable, 3 lynchable].
• We lynch Town Day 2 (END OF DAY 2: 5-1 [4 unlynchable, 2 lynchable])
• Scum kills Vig Night 2 (END OF NIGHT 2: 4-1 [3 unlynchable, 1 lynchable])
• We lynch Town Day 3 (END OF DAY 3: 3-1 [3 unlynchable, 1 lynchable]). Remaining lynchable player is Scum.
• Scum kills lynchable player Night 3 (END OF NIGHT 3: 2-1)
• We lynch Scum Day 4. Town wins!

Scenario 1C

• Scum kill Doctor Night 0. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Scum. Cop investigates one lynchable and confirms Town (END OF NIGHT 0: 9-1 [6 unlynchable, 4 lynchable]).
• We lynch a Vanilla Day 1 (END OF DAY 1: 8-1 [6 unlynchable, 3 lynchable])
• Scum kills Cop Night 1. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Town. (END OF NIGHT 1: 6-1 [5 unlynchable, 2 lynchable]).
• We lynch Town Day 2 (END OF DAY 2: 5-1). Last remaining lynchable player is Scum.
• Scum kill Vig Night 2 (END OF NIGHT 2: 4-1).
• We lynch Scum Day 3 (END OF DAY 3: 4-0) – Town wins!

Scenario 1D

• Scum kill Doctor Night 0. Vig kills one lynchable and hits Scum. Cop investigates one lynchable and finds Scum. Town wins!

Thus I conclude that there is no possible way for the Scum to win if they choose to kill in the order Doctor – Cop – Vig.

I’ll do Doctor-Vig-Cop next.

Gah. I can’t do this. There are too many permutations to check them all. If the Scum have identified a loophole, so be it.

i don’t think so story but please feel free to check my math.

we are at 6-5-2 right now. lynch town. 6-4-2. now scum have to shoot in the power pool. do they take me out or a 50/50 between ed and zeriel and hope to get the doc. assume they take me out. then we are 5-4-2 with mental’s result coming up. he either makes it 6-3-2 (town wins as long as the confirmeds vote together) or gets a scum in which case we are at 5-4-1. a NK and another result. 4-4-1. town wins if he gets a scum or it becomes 5-3-1 (town wins again).

it’s just as bad if they go after the doc. then i get at least one kill into the vanillas and mental gets two results or i get two kills and mental gets 1 result.

the only way town can lose is if we decide to lynch a confirmed or i decide to kill a confirmed. both of which i assume are fairly remote possibilities.
