Getting back to the events of this episode, I wonder how Burt will react when Kurt tells him that he and Blaine are dating?*
Burt knows that over just the past couple of weeks Blaine has been getting drunk, “experimenting” with Rachel**, having unannounced sleepovers with Kurt, and coming by the shop to tell Burt to make sure Kurt knows about safe sex. I wouldn’t expect any real drama over this since Burt is awesome and Blaine seems to be a nice boy who’s just been a little confused lately, but it does remind me of that old joke about the guy who goes to buy condoms before a date only to learn that the pharmacist is his girlfriend’s father.
*It occurs to me that the portmanteau for this relationship can only be “Blurt”, but I will do my best to put this out of my mind.
**With whom Burt’s stepson has an on-again, off-again romance, just to make things even more awkward.
Chris Colfer accidentally blurted out that Kurt will be going back to McKinley, which I don’t think stuns anybody, but I wonder how the romance will continue or if Blaine will transfer. (Dalton’s wormhole might be in Lima’s district.)
Darren Criss is reportedly signed on through season three, so I expect Blaine will still be around one way or another. He and Kurt both apparently have their own cars, so being at different schools wouldn’t be a major barrier to their relationship.
I’ve actually been feeling more and more that the writers’ decision to send Kurt to Dalton was a pointless one in narrative terms, as almost everything that’s happened this season could have happened even if Kurt had stayed at McKinley. The bullying issue could have been temporarily put on hold if Karofsky had been suspended for the rest of the fall semester. As has been mentioned by others in this thread, we’ve seen nothing of Kurt’s classes at Dalton and none of the faculty members have appeared. There have been a lot of Warblers numbers, but none of the Dalton students except Blaine have been developed as characters. I’m not sure any of them even have names. Since Kurt met and befriended Blaine before transferring, they could have been meeting up at that coffee shop after school, practicing numbers for Blaine’s winter job, and going to Rachel’s party together even if they’d remained at separate schools.
Lauren did only join New Directions because they needed a 12th member in Kurt’s absence, but she’s been a questionable addition to the show. If the writers really wanted her to join they could have either come up with some other reason why one of the kids had to miss sectionals or they could have just made Lauren actually want to join the club.
Long long long ago SNL alum Victoria Jackson weighs in (for most of us truly wonder what Victoria Jackson thinks about this). Original column on World Net Daily.

After saying liberals are wrong for supporting Muslim beheading of women and murder of Jews and expressing fear some Muslim will do her in for her words (darlin’, I don’t think many of any demographic are reading you),
Baby, nobody’s shoving anything down anybody’s throat until sweeps week.
The most pathetic thing is that you know if Ryan Murphy called her up and said “We really want you to have a recurring role on Glee as a lesbian cleaning lady with Tourettes and a parrot” she’d be on the next plane to Hollywood.
I honestly felt sorry for her, she seems like she has some sort of brain injury. Back in the 80s she made a specialty out of playing kooky/wacky/spacey, but I thought that was, you know, acting.
