The ponies are too small for the three humans to ride (and not in metal armour anyway.)
Normally you need the Riding skill to fight or cast spells on horseback, but I’d allow Plixican to use his mental control over his Summoned Monsters instead.

I’d suggest keeping the two on our flanks where they are, and using the other two to rush em. I wouldn’t expect them to do a lot of damage but the sight of fearless killer ponies charging has GOT to be a trifle unnerving…

Dorric (and the Casters) have a clear view of the battlefield.
I shall be waiting, staff ready, in case of any breakthrough, but otherwise will be directing my remaining ponies. And no, I won’t be getting on one!
I attack the first soldier foolish enough to get in sword-range of me, but i maintain my position on the line.
is the Senior Munifex actually dead then?

Are the two soldiers facing the lone pony within range of dorric’s sling? If so that’s his next shot
Yes, Dorric surveys the whole battlefield…
Hmmm, where is everyone in relation to the map right now? I am wondering when/if I should head back down.
You’re looking down on the combat.
Your choices for the next three rounds include:
I’d recommend keeping Dorric up on the roof and sniping - no need to put him in harm’s way as we haven’t taken a scratch yet, plus three sling attacks will really help if you attack the two soldiers who are fighting the lone Pony
Yes, I am still going to snipe the two soldiers with the pony in the next round. I know where Dorric is but I am not sure where everyone else is. Mostly I want to know how far away the two main groups are from Dorric and from each other, and where the MUs are.
Everyone is between the abandoned building (East side) and the Eastern edge of the Arena.
Plixican and John are sheltered behind a front line of (in order) Pony, Quentin, Johannes (centre of line), Dale and Pony (this is the one with Mage Armour on.)
Facing them are 4 Soldiers.
Behind them (i.e. nearer the Eastern Arena edge) are two Soldiers fighting a Pony.
So, the soldiers fighting the dying pony are behind our party or behind their own? I think our party has their back to the building but I don’t want to assume.
If it lines up (west to east) DORRIC…MUs…FIGHTERS…4 ENEMY SOLDIERS…2 ENEMY SOLDIERS…PONY (which is what I think) then Dorric will shoot the 2 soldiers for 2 rounds and shift to the 4 soldiers for the last round. If the party is sandwiched between soldiers then he will shoot the two soldiers for all three rounds .
Your description is accurate.
The party have the wall at their backs (i.e. Plixican and John are closest to it.)
The two soldiers fighting the pony are behind their own side.
We should concentrate on killing the ones who are attacking us, and let the pony do its job of distracting the other two. If they spend the round taking that pony down, then we want them to turn around to the rest of the group and realise that their friends have already fallen.
