Glen Beck 100 year plan for America

A retirement community organizer. Baby steps, y’know.

So Beck tours and tours, a super-safe Republican seat opens up with no clear candidate, he Clintons his way into it, and boom, he’s a Congressperson. Maybe O’Reily takes a third (I’m including the Congrewoman with the crazy eyes as the first), and then Palin. Throw in one more RW extreamist, and with their pulpit (in and out of Congress), financial resources, and now legitimized influence, they could get a lot more congresspeople to vote with them. The Republicans already have an absurd amount of party unity, this would just be a natural extension.

Or …

He could go all Howard Beale on us.

Oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please oh please…

How about at the beginning and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way through to the end?

No, we’d already passed the Pure Food Law and the Sherman Antitrust Act, so we were already on the long road down.

There’s a buck in it for Beck. He isn’t real and Disneyland isn’t real. That doesn’t mean there isn’t profit in either one. He preys on people that feel powerless. It’s just like another mega-church except that he has Fox paying his overhead instead of him paying for air time.

He’s getting so full of his own BS that eventually he will self-destruct. They all do.

The age of an average fox news and talk radio listener is about 65-67. With people like O’Reilly it is even over, something like 71.

Also I believe males are overrepresented among those listeners. And males don’t live as long.

So good luck. On a more fun note, people under 30 went for Obama 65-34.
Also, a populist movement among the elderly to stop welfare and socialism won’t go very far after someone explains to these dolts that social security and medicare are the 2 biggest welfare programs in the united states.

He’s the Book Czar. Beck is obviously poking fun at Obama and his army of czars.

Beck’s point, from day one, is that the government is running hog-wild and out of control. And he is absolutely right.

That’s the beauty of it; explaining it to them will change nothing.

Cutting off their social security and medicare for 2 months will do far more to break this movement than anything else. These people act and think like children. They are incapable of logic and long term planning while only caring about immediate grafication and self interest.

Its like when you have a 7 year old who refuses to clean his room or do his chores. You let him live in the yard for a few days and realize all the benefits he gets from doing those chores. Same with these people who rally against socialism. Just deprive them of the benefits of socialism for a few months.

Eh? It’s a Soviet Army uniform. The Soviet Union didn’t have czars (at least, none that they didn’t shoot).

Here’s Czar Nicholas, his military uniform isn’t anywhere close to the one Beck is wearing.

Not to mention the backwards “R”, which actually is the “ya” sound in Russian. “P” is the Cyrillic “R”. If Beck is trying to be cute, it just makes HIM look like an idiot.

An endorsement from Clothahump = the Kiss of Death.

You mean the SMALLER “army” of czars than George W. Bush had?

Actually, that’s kind of funny.

Not that it is a valid criticism, but it is kind of clever. Beck is still looney-tunes crazy, and not just because he’s a right-winger, but because he is a literally psychologically damaged, untrustworthy right winger.

So, the real question is, is the right-wing’s orbit open or closed? Will they follow the path of so many comets and just keep widening the angles until they completely fly away into interstellar space, or will they manage to bring things back under control so they might someday, maybe even in the next 76 years or so, swing back close enough to sanity and reality that they might actually become a viable political movement again?

The GOP will probably win seats in 2010 for a variety of reasons. Turnout among republicans is higher than democrats in midterms (youth and nonwhites have lower turnout in midterms). The executive party tends to lose seats in a midterm (people prefer a balance of powers). The democrats are disappointed and let down while the GOP is energized.

So I think after the GOP wins some seats in 2010 they will say it was because of how crazy they were, and become even crazier. The reality is even Newt Gingrich is becoming uncomfortable with the worship of a person like Palin. Gingrich used to be one of the extremists, now he is trying to restrain the new generation. And I see them going further to the right after the victories they will likely gain in 2010.

That’s the kind of person that would rape and murder a girl in the early 90’s. For sure.

Now, now. We don’t know that he raped and murdered that poor girl. Still, the longer he goes without at least addressing the allegations the more it looks like he has something to hide.

We don’t know the truth about this: it could have been a young boy in the late 80s. But who knows what Glen Beck did? I wish he’d come clean, and tell us exactly how many people he has raped and murdered.

Another question, did the alleged rape occur after or before the alleged murder ?
