Until we moved to California, I had never heard of Gloria Allred.
However, in the 12 years we lived there, she was in every single Gay Pride Parade in West Hollywood and seemed to be sincerely happy to take part and was having fun.
I figured anyone who would schlep out of bed early for this long parade, and smile, laugh and wave to the crowd for the hours it took to participate, couldn’t be all bad.
Sure, she is a media whore (and is there any community in the US that doesn’t have some attorney advertising day and night?) but at least she wasn’t afraid to mingle with the riffraff and gladhand everyone she met along the way.
If I ever need a high powered attorney to take my case and get much needed publicity, I would most certainly give Gloria a call.
