Frankly, Oakland pulled one of the great recent playoff chokes of all time. They made a truly astonishing number of mistakes - three errors, plus a bevy of lesser defensive mistakes and baserunning blunders. I think the Yankees got a gift.
I also have a feeling the Yankees are going to be run over by the Mariners, and I think it might be really ugly. After the scare against Cleveland I can’t shake the feeling the M’s are going to plow through the ALCS like a battleship through a rowboat convention.
There is only one explanation for this.
God hates me.

I can only say–RATS SPHINCTER. The A’s were robbed; there was someone at the game who whenever they attend the teams never wins; the umpires are not fair; the sun got in their eyes–couldn’t be those 9 guys on the field.

Fortunately for me to change teams is easy. I have a friend who lives in Seattle and when visiting her and her hubby we have gone to games. So I will now say
