God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - where does the comma go?

It’s worth your time watching this, I promise you!

Agreed. It was fun even though I knew the answer. It’s nice to consider all the possibilities in song. With metrically sound, rhyming lyrics.

OK, glad we got that settled!

Next question - just how many people are actually in that video? Because all those guys look a LOT alike. Is it one guy singing different parts, progressively shaving off part of a beard between each filming? Or am I just imagining that possibility? Maybe the slap-guy is one of just two people here?

Well, you can live in the love of the comma, people.

Are you saying he’s a comma chameleon?

You win the thread

I think it is all the same person, a technique perfected by Randy Rainbow.

Yeah, it’s all one person. I didn’t even notice all of the facial hair differences originally–only that he’d shaved for the slapping guy.

I’m actually quite surprised he doesn’t have more such videos on his channel. The splitscreen single-person harmony genre is pretty common online. And he actually sounds like he can sing the parts–even if I do hear a certain effect that seems to be used in a lot of places to make tenors sound better. Still, I find it interesting that a more generic video producer knew how to make it sound that good.

Well it takes time to regrow the beard between videos.
