Huh? I thought it was “Thou shalt wait an hour after eating before going swimming.”

Thanks. Apparently I never noticed that in years… (or at least at previous vB upgrade) However, doesn’t work with Wingdings. I understand, it’s an obscure font, only used by an elite club called “Anyone Running Windows 3.1 or Newer.”
In that mode, it changes to some readable font. Outside, it’s the “missing symbol” icon.

FYI, using fonts to make graphics, like Wingdings does, is against Web Accessibility standards, and is not supported in modern browsers, except maybe Internet Explorer which has legacy support.
It would be a complete mess to a screenreader or a high contrast display which changes the font to a very readable one. Instead, you are supposed to use actual images with “alt” tags.
Doesn’t mean they’re right just because they’re alternate spellings. You get the main entry for “shiksa” at Wiktionary and dictionary.com (and no result for schicksa at the latter).

I don’t know if this counts as a woosh or not. I’m gonna count it, even if I wasn’t trying.
And I am sure you could find many “standards” violations on the website that is a subject of this thread (the useful part takes up just over 1/3 the screen!). Check them out. :dubious:

I’d say “I’ll see your Romans 1 and raise you a Romans 13”:
1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves . 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
ETA: On further consideration, get that printed onto some labels and slap them on the copies of the WND article. That’d be fun.
This made me giggle for a full 20 seconds, so according to Skippy’s List, I’m to assume that I’m not allowed to do it.
