Goddam Loch Ness Monster

Having spent a good half hour wrestling with google, I’m beginning to doubt my sanity. However, I am still clinging to the belief that there’s an Eddie Murphy sketch wherein an old black couple are being hounded for cash by the Loch Ness monster. Thus I beseech the T.M.'s: please point me in the appropriate direction, that I might amaze my doubting roomie with the aforementioned witticism and once again hold my head high when wandering our poor domicile.

I don’t know whether there was actually an Eddie Murphy skit with the theme, but there is a South Park episode that has that in it (the link should go to the episode. If not, the name of the episode is “Succubus”).

I’ve actually seen the South Park, and thought that it was simply a riff/homage to the Eddie Murphy. Unfortunately, all I was able to come up with off google was Eric Cartman. Hence my doubting my sanity. Which is helped none by the fact that the South Park apparently refers to “tree fitty,” while I’m fairly positive that Eddie’s monster wanted two fitty.

Please save my sanity!

Wasn’t that one of the brief scenes included after credits rolled at the end of Dr. Doolittle 2?
Seems like there were some bloopers and scenes that were cut from the movie as well.

Just checked out Doolittle 2, not there. I don’t have D1 so I don’t know. It sure sounds familiar, maybe a guest appearance on SNL.

Maybe they’re parodies of the Klumps on The Nutty Professor and the sequel.

I think you may be confusing a sketch where the Loch Ness Monster was shown to be Jack The Ripper.

I’m pretty sure that was the “Bullshit Or Not” segment from Amazon Women on the Moon* with Henry Silva. The only tie-in I can think of between that and Eddie Murphy is that there was another segment in the film featuring Arsenio Hall.

*For those who haven’t seen the film, it’s basically Kentucky Fried Movie made ten years later, with sketch comedy that would never get shown on SNL, or even MTV today.

My bad. You are spot on Semp. I 'm obviously very confused and quite tired.*

*But at least I’m sober.

I gave him tree fitty just last week.

All I know, is that Nessie likes dirty folksongs.

If performed by a buxom Japanese lass, of course.

God damnit woman! No wonder he keeps bothering us! He ain’t never gonna go away if you keep giving him tree fifty!

It’s called inflation. Even that go’ d’mm’d loch ness monster feels the effects of rising prices

And, evidently, I was feeling the effects of a few fo’ties, myself. Ahhh, college.

Thanks all.
