My version -
“Trump will always do something worse than I expect even when I take into account that he always does something worse than I expect”.
I keep telling myself that I am by now totally acclimated to him and that it is normal and not surprising when he reaches new levels of idiocy.
But it simply isn’t true; I can’t quite bring myself to believe he will do what he then does, so I continue to be flabbergasted.
I always tell myself on every insane shit he pulls, “This is IT!!! He’s OUT! 25th!!!” But I should start accepting that toxic event will always be topped. If he shouts the N word over and over in the State of the Union, he’d top that too.
