Godspeed, Airman Doors

Godspeed, Airman Doors

Please come home safe! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hugs to all of you - I’ll think good thoughts for you, even though I know you’ll all be reunited.

Stand tall, man.

Be well. I’ll send some girl scout cookies.

Just this week I got a postcard from a pal who’d been activated, too.

Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Good luck, Airman Doors, and come home safe. You and MsRobyn will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Dave.

Good luck and stay safe, Airman!

Come home soon!

Good luck Airman Doors! Hopefully your tour will be short, so you can get back to MsRobyn and Bomb Bay Doors.

MsRobyn my prayers are with you, baby and Airman Doors. Good luck.

Best of luck to the Doors clan. Hoping for your safe return!

My hugs to you and to Airman, Robin…It’s a tough time and only faith will follow you through with a lot of prayers, vibes, thoughts, etc…from those here, your family and friends.

I wish him the best in his endevour (sp). Think of the day he comes back and you, as a family can reunite, it will be a lovely day for you all. I see it here locally all the time, in peace and in war.

Hugs to you both, your son and your families.

If there are any Mods reading this thread, would you consider creating a thread with a sticky so we can post the names of known Dopers away from home now in harm’s way?

Airman has his thread here, but I think it’s fitting and proper we remember those among us who have been called should have their own honor thread with a sticky.

Airman and all other Dopers away from home, we’ll keep the home fires burning. If anything, it will be just that much easier to find the light back home.

Best of luck, Dave. Take care.

And best wishes to you, Robyn and ‘little bit’.

I like you, Dave. Good luck!

And hang in there Robyn and Baby Doors. We’re here for ya’.

Thanks for looking after my freedom.
Since you’re ready, willing and able to do your job there, I can do my job here.
Godspeed, Airman Doors! Hugs to MsRobyn and lil Doors

Robyn,

My thoughts are with you and Il Bambino Doors. Amn Doors is a big boy and will do fine. I may see him over there soon. I’ll tell him “Howdy”.

Tripler
E-mail me. I have a question for you.

Airman: THANK YOU, and Godspeed.

Robyn: Hang in there! Keep us posted.

Be well and safe Airman Doors.
And Robyn, you just don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything at all.
I just had a friend deployed this week and his wife and their children are comming home for a while.
I guess that is the plus side. I haven’t seen them in years and I haven’t ever even seen the baby. But I’ve know Andy since he was in kindergarten.

When you get things in order after you find out if he can get mail let us know and I will have my kids write and draw pictures for him and others he was called up with.
My husband said it was nice to get letters from home when he was over there. I don’t know who did it (I think the local American Legion) but people got addresses to write his unit and send them letters from home.
People they didn’t even know and my not ever meet were writting them. He still has those letters and christmas cards from the family that got him.

Hey, you guys.

Kid, the Younger is a Canadian Army Cadet. (Yay Westies!). When I told him A. D. had gone over, he asked me to send best wishes.

Here they are, along with a bunch from the rest of the family too.

Love, zoogirl
