Lost our beloved kitten a couple of days ago.
Still struggling to come to terms with the disproportionately large hole she leaves behind in our lives.

Condolences. Amazing what sort of hold they have on your heart. I wept more when our cat died than I have for some relatives. Took a couple of years to be anywhere near ready for another one, but she’s a joy and we’ll get to go through all that misery yet again at some point.
So sorry, she was very cute. There are many waiting in need of homes so don’t let your grief hold you back too much.

If you can, share the love with another kitten who needs a home. It’s “kitten season” and shelters are full.
I’m so very sorry, QuickSilver. She was a beautiful cat.
She was 19 actually. So not technically a “kitten”. That was just my term of endearment for her. She was really tiny though; 9 pounds at her best. The picture is from a couple of years ago. She was my wife’s since she was an actual kitten, before we met and she became our’s.
She brought so much joy every day. We miss her.
