Today I was lucky enough to once again see the best movie ever created, Good Burger. Abe, how you dazzled me with your brilliance. How this movie was not named as number one in the top 100 is a mystery to me. Perhaps it’s because the main characters are black. Yep, racism is the only reason I can figure for this outrage. At least Mr. Cranky gave this movie the credit it deserved.
You’re a dude.
I’m a dude, she’s a dude…
Well, There’s No arguing* that* Logic…
Is this some sort of parody?
Is your post some sort of parody Libertarian?
And you mean you’ve never seen Good Burger? Unbelievable!
It’s not as good as Baby’s Day Out though, but it’s in the same ball park.
Do you think I’m cute?
Sure!
What’s cute about me?
You’re head.
You have a cute head too.
I try to keep it nice.
You’re a chicken-- MOO MOOO!
Stupid movie. Making me laugh when it’s just so stupid. Moo.
Welcome to Good Burger rant, home of the Good Burger rant. May I post your order, please?
Oh and may I say that I’m shocked and surprised at how many of you have seen this movie. You should be ashamed. All 6 of you.
I have an excuse. Children. They were young then and had no taste. They also watched Surf Ninjas repeatedly.
P.S. Surf Ninjas is nowhere near as funny as Good Burger.
I have indeed seen Good Burger. I was just startled by the OP’s unabashed admission of racism. I assumed it was a parody.
“the OP’s unabashed admission of racism.” ?? What the hell are you talking about? what’s racist about his OP? he says it’s racist the film’s not in the top 100! he’s backing the film.(apologies if the long road 's female)
Either re read the OP or redefine your definition of racism. :wally
First: Oh, for the love of gawrd.
b) I watched Good Burger when the hub was at work and the kids were too young to understand it. I have seen several movies this way. I liked “Good Burger.” SO THERE.
I think the OP may have been peppered with tongue-in-cheekiness, mock earnestness, or whatever in regard to the racism bit. Must we always be so up-in-arms whenever the ‘r’-word is used? Besides no one’s being racist here, and the only person who might be getting accused of racism here isn’t even a person-- it’s a friggin’ institute!
And “Good Burger” ruled. But I liked “Dude, Where’s My Car.” too, if that tells you anything about me.
I have vague recollections of the movie Good Burger. I remember seeing The Keenan and Kel Show enough to get the basic gist of the movie.
For the record, I know what you’re saying about why it was overlooked for Top 100 lists. I’ve contended for a long time that if Bob and Doug McKenzie were anything but Canadian, then Strange Brew would be regarded right up there with the other classics of cinema.
I watched Good Burger by myself before I even had any children. And I liked it. What year did that movie come out anyway?
I always liked Kel better.
I still can’t tell if you people are being serious. Is it really that funny? Compare its comedic value to, say…Super Troopers.
Now I have to ask if in fact you are making some kind of joke.
NOTHING
NOTHING
compares to Super Troopers
meow
Agreed. It’s the new Airplane! for me.
I think I’ll rent Good Burger when I get my Netflix subscription.
Okay, I get it.
I’ll say, “I have never seen Good Burger, but because so many (reasonable?) people say that they like it I may go and rent it tonight.”
You’ll all say “it is good adam, don’t worry, rent it and enjoy”.
Then the second I’m out of here you’ll all be laughing at me behind my back.
I get it. I’m onto your little game…
