John is NOT a bad guy in any way, but he needs roasted for this one.
If you have to ask which John, you’re a noob.
John, get a secretary. Your typing finger must really hurt.

Grow up near Pittsburgh?
Just think if he had written books!
We’d have several volumes of his …wait, what has he actually said?
Jk, of all the posters who love semantic quibbling, his quibbling is by far the most easily skipped, which makes him alright in my book.
God. Thank you.
So no one else has to go find one of his posts to confirm:
Yes, indeed, Morgenstern is referring to John Mace.
I pad my post count via Thread Games, but I rarely see him there.
14.75 posts a day. He couldn’t finish that last ¼ of a post? Slacker.
I just looked at my stats. In about 12 years I will surpass him. Ah, a goal!
I thought you meant JohnnyLA for a moment
You know who else posted over 80k times?
John Hitler?
I’ve been here so long that I remember when Guinastasia led the board with 12,000 posts.
John’s mom?
Used to be we were in awe of Handy’s 2000.
It was better after the Board upgraded from kerosene powered servers.
For clarity’s sake, I want to note that I am not trying to say that the needs + past participle construction is wrong or bad. But it is associated with Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. I’m just curious if that’s true for the OP or if they picked it up from someone else. I love seeing regional signifiers in people’s speech, especially in written communication as those often get edited out in favor of a more generic General English.
Imagine getting to 69,420 and not retiring.
Hamsters are an upgrade?
Was until PETA got all up in our face about feeding them a fifty-fifty mixture of hamster chow and Adderall. Shit was humming, there, for a while.
Pro tip: When you’ve given your hamsters enough stimulants that their shit starts audibly humming, you should consider decreasing the dose.
