Is this Hulu only or is FX/FXX picking it up?
If anything can entice me to subscribe to Hulu, it’s this. I’m not there yet, but I could be.
When re-watching classic Futurama episodes, I’ve noticed it is starting to feel kind of dated, particularly the ones that used then-contemporary humor, like references to Napster and American Online floppy disks.
Yeah, that was one of the not-so-great things about the Comedy Central seasons.
Fry is dated. To December 31, 1999 to be exact. What do you expect?
That would be The Simpsons. Futurama is more like Kenny, keeps dying but always gets rezzed.

I think it reached the lowest point when they satirized Susan Boyle. (Who?)

Cartoon revivals are pretty common anyway.
Flintstones, Jetsons and Scooby Doo have had many many versions as three good examples.

I liked episode 2 more than episode 1. More character/plot centric instead of just parodying current culture.
It is interesting when a show can have a throwaway line about something supposed to happen 20 years later, then actually revisit it 20 years later.
If I’m not in this season it just won’t be Glorious.
Personally, I find that it’s the concept of “Wuv” that confuses and enrages me.

Yes. Episode 2 was solid. Nice call back on the Whale Biologist.
I’m liking it. Episode 1 was a bit heavy on the self-referntial jokes about being renewed again, but it’s still very much Futurama and it’s nice to have more Futurama.
