Good news in amongst all the depressing stuff

Today has actually been quite a good day here in the UK.

  • Manchester United won 3-0 and qualified for the European Championships

  • The IRA finally destroyed a large percentage of their weapons. Maybe the whole Northern Ireland thing is at long last coming to a close

  • We legalised marijuana. Well, nearly. Once the new law is implemented in the next month or so, you won’t be arrested for possession anymore.

In amongst all the doom and gloom it’s nice to see some undoubtedly good things happening.

Maybe there is hope for the world after all. :slight_smile:
