Crowley and Aziraphale walk the Earth! Huzzah! I think they’ve got the look quite right.
I don’t think I could be any more excited about this! Tennant is my favorite actor, and Good Omens is one of my all-time favorite books. I can’t wait!
Jack Whitehall? Really?
McKean and Richardson will make a marvelous Shadwell/Madame Tracy.
But is that “quite right” as in “very right”, or just as in “OK, well, right enough”?
I hadn’t even heard that this was in the works, but the people involved make me optimistic about the outcome.
Tennant looks astoundingly like a younger Bill Nighy in Still Crazy. I’d have gone for Colin Farrell myself, for that slightly furtive cockiness, but you can’t have everything.
Adria Arjona is not who I would have pictured as Anathema Device (who I had down as very English - grown-up Hermione, basically), but I like her a lot and so am happy with this latest casting news. McKean should make a good Shadwell - especially if he has the beard.
Dunno, looks a little too “Doctor Who” to me. I’d rather they had gone with real-world outfits.
This doesn’t put me off the show, at all, but it does make me feel like it’s going to be a bit more BBC and a bit less HBO.
Crowley’s been walking the earth ever since he helped the Winchesters take down Lucifer. Least the only Crowley I know about.
Always good to see Miranda Richardson getting work. She was one of the best parts of Black Adder II.
I just found this book in my junk room - I must have bought it at some point, but I don’t recall when. I’m about halfway thru it and I’m loving it! So ya for the movie!!
I still have my 1991 Corgi paperback, complete with impossibly young photos of Gaiman and Pratchett.
Weirdly, I somehow feel that Tennant and Sheen should have been cast the other way around.
