Socially, I feel like i’m kind of a rut lately. Several of my good friends have movied away or now have demanding jobs, leaving me with a bit of a gap in my social life. I’ve always had a good number of friends-it was just natural, they were just there. The friends that I have now don’t seem to be terribly interested in many things lately. It’s as if there is some sort of post-college slump…I don’t know.
Anyhoo…i’d like to know of some good web sites to meet local people online. Not necessarily dating(though that is a plus) but more about meeting people with similar interests. Quiet, interesting people is somewhat an image I have in mind. I swear i feel a bit embarrased having to search for friends, but i’ve been feeling kind of like a recluse lately; not seeing friends too often, and when I do feeling very bored and unsatisfied (though they don’t seem to mind).
I’d love to hear some recommendations for web sites or some suggestions on where to meet cool people otherwise-other than the straight dope, of course
