Roam? She-Bop?! Hey Ya?!?!
I get it now. This must be an ironic thread.
How about this: If you’ve never stripped, or watched a professional strip, don’t offer up your favorite danceclub hits, okay? As it is now, the OP could make the worst stripping mix of all time using nothing but suggestions in this thread. Won’t somebody think of the strippers?
Regarding the concept of “stripping” as being the sexy art of removing clothing, I disagree. The best dances I’ve ever seen have invariably begun with the stripper already naked. I’m not entirely convinced that strippers understand what it is that men are looking for. Anything remotely artistic is pretty much the opposite of what I’m looking for, at least. All I need is sexy gyrations, some sultry facial expressions, and eye contact. (Or not. My Beautiful People anecdote involved the stripper being in her own world, with her eyes closed the whole song.) But I’m not into the whole headliner act concept with showy costumes and elaborate* choreography. I’d much rather see three women on a long stage dancing to house music. Many guys like the older songs which remind them of their youth, but I personally prefer more current songs.
With that in mind, I think I’m a Slave for You is an excellent suggestion.
As much as I love Frank Zappa, I think Wille The Pimp is an awful idea. If I were forced to pick a Zappa song to play in a stripclub, it would be a tossup between Ms Pinky and Wonderful Wino, but neither are particularly good for stripping.
*Although the elaborate choreography I once witnessed involving two girls and a strapon was a personal favorite, but that was a private (bachelor) party.
I’ve stripped to that, and to Concrete Blonde’s version, too. Good stuff.
Obviously taste is something that is highly individual, but I’ve heard more guys complain about girls who left nothing to the imagination than vice versa. Personally, my favorite sets to perform started out with me in long dresses and such, and ended up with a floorshow in thong and heels.
[Trivia: why do strippers end up lying on the floor more at the end of the night? WE’RE TIRED! heh]
I’ve scanned the entire thread and am shocked, shocked that no one has mentioned:
She Loves My Cock – Jackyl
The best performance I’ve ever seen by a stripper was rhythmically gyrated and pantomimed to that tune.
(And the worst was to Barbie Girl… but the performer was a big name porn star, making the rounds to earn real money between her tapings of gashgnashing.)
Didn’t Jackyl do a chainsaw tune, also? That would possibly make a pretty good stage show, with the appropriate prop(s)…
“The Way You Move” Outkast
She loves my cock is AC/DC, and Chainsaw is Jackyl. Good songs though. AC/DC is really some of the very best stripper music ever made.
Props schmops. I’ve never been one to use them. If you’ve got the bod and the moves, that’s all you need. A nice costume never hurt, but again, if you’ve got the goods you’re set.
“She Hates Me” - Puddle of Mud
Was inspired after watching Johnny Damon’s post-game interview, where this tune (heh) was blaring in the background. Might be fun for sick humor; and musically, seems like it could work.
Seriously, that is one of the sexiest songs I’ve ever seen performed, but I only know one woman who could do it justice and she is no more.
Love Bites by Def Leppard.
Well, it’s true I’ve never stripped (though I have done some nude modelling – it’s so heartbreaking when you take off your clothes and they ask for their money back). But I have watched strippers dance. Some of them can’t dance at all, they just sorta sway like they’re about to pass out. Others can handle anything with a beat to it and then some. I always tip the good dancers generously.
When I first heard SLMC, I thought it was being sung by Bon Scott, too…
But nope… it’s Jackyl. I paid the stripper who chose it to dance to $40 to tell me so.
Well, that part is still true, anyway!
I think a lot of guys would pay a cover charge to watch the training sessions.
Actually, when I’ve watched a really good stripper, I’ve often thought that someone should hire them to do a training video. If done right, it would sell to both the customers and the dancers. [Yeah, I know about the “Strippercise” workout programs, but that’s not exactly what I think is needed.] One of the local girls was known for several years as one of the best in the Deja Vu chain at pole tricks, and it’s just a shame she could only pass on her expertise person-to-person. The lady defied gravity several times a night, with a complete disregard for all the laws of physics.
