Goodbye Eli Stone

Has this thread been started before? I’m guessing not since the show evidently wasn’t that popular.

I’m sad to see it go. I really liked it.

Did anybody else watch this show?

For a second, I thought you meant “Goodbye Eli Roth.” I came in here to find out the extremely gory circumstances of his death.

I watched the first several episodes, but haven’t bothered lately. (I guess you can partially blame me for the cancellation!) It was a pretty good show, I thought, but in the end it just failed to grab me. I found myself utterly uninterested in his fiance, her father, and most of the other people in the law firm, and the more screentime they got, the less I wanted to watch.

Obviously not.

I watched it a couple times, when I lived in Bulgaria and would happily watch ANYTHING in English. But when one of the first episodes was about a single mom suing a big pharmaceutical company whose vaccinations caused her son’s autism, I stopped watching. I wasn’t that desperate for entertainment.

I didn’t love the show, but my SO was a fan. Have watched all the episodes.
Haven’t seen the most recent (last?) show yet - it is on our DVR.

Kind of sorry it is leaving - but won’t miss it a whole bunch. Hope it ends without a cliffhanger - considering it is over for good.

I watched it and I am bummed it’s gone. It was something different and I found it enjoyable.

I liked it. It seems they tried to have a little bit of closure with the scene with his Dad at the end, and him admitting his feelings for the other lawyer, the boss reconciling with his ex, and the other two lawyers getting engaged.

Allen Heinberg worked on this right? Sorry for the fans, but I’m glad it’s going away… maybe he’ll get his ass back to Marvel and write Young Avengers vol 3.
