One of our dogs drowned the other night and we finally recovered her body tonight. I really loved that dog. Don’t know why I’m posting, too sad to sleep.

All of you are great for your comments. It’s so quiet around here without here! When some horrible things happened in my life a few years ago, Uhuru sat with me whenever I cried and comforted me. She always made me feel loved. I’m just happy that she was loved and spoiled often while she was here.
How heartbreaking :(. I’m so sorry. At least she was a happy girl who knew she was loved and spoiled. Take comfort in that.

We are burying Uhuru on Friday. She was a wonderful friend. Isn’t it amazing that such different species can touch each other the way they do? I will always mistrust people that don’t like dogs. I hope you all know what your replies mean to me and my family.
