Do you know about Mapcrunch? It gives you a random Street View pic, you can navigate around or click on. I made a game about it.
You should play Geoguessr. It drops you into random places in Street View and you have to navigate yourself around to figure out where you are.
A few months ago I happened upon the Google Street Car and wondered if I would eventually end up on there and sure enough a few months later I did indeed.
I once embrked on a street-view bird-watching project, trying to find identifiable birds in street views. They are very hard to find. Here’s one of the best, Brown Pelicans, Unidentified Cormorant, Gull and Terns, in Guaymas, Mexico
