"Gorgeous" guys

I was just informed by a female friend that Dean Cain of “Lois and Clark” was good looking, but this Tom Welling of “Smallville” is some new kind of gorgeous. It surprised me. I certainly am not an expert on handsome guys, but I thought that Dean would win that fight. However, I am informed that he’s not in the same league as Tom.
Any of you ladies got some other guys I might have seen that just drop your jaw? Who is it that’s supposed to be just amazing, especially if it’s not a national obsession already (no Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, etc)?

Oded Fehr

Man o man. ::fans self::

He was Ardeth Bay in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.

Well before all the “ladies” rush in with their top ten lists, let me just say that newness imparts some measure of extra attractiveness. He’s just the latest thing. This time next year Welling’s looks will have hardly changed, but there will be some other new young stud making hearts pitter-patter.

But that ad poster of him stripped down & tied to a split rail fence was something else alright…

 It’s all in the eye anyway.

Keith Hamilton Cobb, who plays Tyr Anasazi on Andromeda. Drooooooooooooooooooooool.

Ioan Gruffudd, best known for playing Horatio Hornblower in the A&E movies.

From the Up-and-Coming Hot Guys Department: Orlando Bloom[/ur], who’s playing Legolas in Lord of the Rings. For that matter, that movie is chock full of gorgeous mean, considering that it also features [url=http://www.lordoftherings.net/media/desktops/boromir_800.jpg]Sean Bean (Boromir) and Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn)…

Sorry…trying to figure out how to make the real post work…

Jude Law. I think that sums it up.

Colin Firth

HE come over to my place any time. Especially if he happens to be wearing that wet shirt from Volume IV of * Pride and Prejudice*. Is is hot in here or is it just me? Excuse me while I go dunk my head in some ice water…

What beautiful cheekbones he has. ::swoon::

Somewhat older (fair for us somewhat older doperchicks like myself) and a bit in need of better name recognition, my pick would have to be Victor Garber. Yum.

I too busy oogling the ROCK in that one…

Goran Visnjic

Yowsa!!

And I don’t care how old this man gets, he is still a steaming hunk of sex appeal. He’s like the Dick Clark of Hotville. David Bowie

Glad to see I’m not the only gal that noticed this one! He’s adorable!

No kidding! That scene was among my top ten faves in that whole mini-series! Pride and Prejudice was the first flick I’d ever seen Colin Firth in, and I’ve had an appreciation ever since.

I told my friends that. They laughed at me. :frowning: Something about “he wears makeup”. ::shrug::

Ah, but Heath Ledger is my current favorite. I swoon. I rent mediocre remakes of Shakespeare plays to watch him.

I think he’d look a lot better if he’d do something else with his hair…looks like he’s trying to channel Kurt Cobain or something.

It must be something about the name Colin. Colin Firth is yummy as is Colin Farrell from American Outlaws. He’s even got that great Irish accent!

Colin Firth has a british accent. that’s almost as good as Irish. Is anyone else noticing that most of these guys have very nice accents? Maybe there is something to that. Just a thought.

Dean Cain still does it for me. The face, the body, the charming personality.

I must confess after seeing the movie “The Last Castle”, that my crush on Robert Redford is alive and well. That man has aged very well and still manages to out-hunk men half his age. I think I need a cold shower now . . .
