It’s odd, but the classic hotties are guys (with the exception perhaps of Valentino and James Dean) you don’t particularly care about seeing nekkid, while the current hotties are marketed that way (in fact, most you’ve seen nekkid on screen). Interesting thought, Sampiro. I’m in no way an expert on the history of film, but perhaps that shift took place shortly after film makers started showing more realistic sex scenes.

And you know what? I think the romantic kisses between say, Grace Kelly and Cary Grant were just as steamy as the sex scenes in Basic Instinct. Whatever happened to leaving more to the imagination?
