Gregory Peck in Spellbound. Breathtaking.
Paul Newman in anything.
Johnny Depp in anything, even at his grungiest.
Gary Cooper in Morocco (rumor has it that he broke his male co-star’s heart during that picture)
Montgomery Clift before the accident
Paul Newman
George Clooney
Ekin Chang - I’d link to a picture, but none of them do him justice. You gotta see the boy in motion.
Gregory Peck
Young Elvis
and my all time favorite: Antonio Banderas
I’m going to beg to differ here. One of the great sorrows of my life is never seeing Gregory Peck naked. And there’s not a man on my list that I wouldn’t have kept chained to the bed given the opportunity.
For me one of the sexiest scenes ever was when Rhett grabbed Scarlett and carried her up the staircase with her fighting him but very obviously wanting it just as much as he did (and her next morning glee). Not so much as an ankle was seen and somehow you knew they hadn’t spent the night playing a heated game of Texas Hold 'Em. (The deleted scene where a drunken Mammy carries a fighting Ashley up the stairs is almost as sexy, but not quite.)
I don’t pretend not to like the site of pretty male flesh on screen (I’d walk 40 NYC transit free blocks to see Brokeback Mountain), but for sexy rather than sexual the imagination has it. The “book” scene from Remains of the Day between Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins was in many ways much hotter than 90% of the graphic sex scenes in movies.
