Gotta gloat.

After 15 years of crummy cubicles in dark corners with bad ventilation, I and my whole department finally get decent office space.

We even have windows that open.

From my new cube – Peak One (that’s the actual name) Looking West . Magnified 3x

Looking north, Mount Buffalo

Now, to try to get some work done.

wow!

It’s snowing over there? Already?

Cool!

How long would it take to walk to the base of Peak 1?

The best office in FL will never have a view like that. Fantastic. I’m jealous.

Man, now I’m homesick. :frowning:

Seriously, congratulations; beautiful views.

I hate you. I’m looking out at beautiful downtown Newark, New Jersey. I have a glorious view of rusted-out rooftop air conditioning units, and–wait–I think I see a tree!

Oh yeah. Last year we had 2 feet at our house in Sept.

Note to self: enipla gotta gloat, not enipla gotta goat.

It’s about 3/4 of a mile away before it starts getting steep. The peak is about 3 miles as the crow flies. 12,800 feet in elevation and often shrouded in clouds.

In my 14th-floor office I have natural light through some big windows out onto a hallway that runs around the perimeter of the building, and some great views over downtown Cleveland from the hallway itself, but nothing compared to that. Congrats (and envy) to you.

Wow. Trade?

You can smell how crisp the air is from the picture.

Wonderful. Nice lunchtime walks over to the base of One and back.
(Holding onto envy with both hands to keep it in check.)

Eh, you’ll get bored with it in a week.

I’ve never had any good views outside of office windows. If I am lucky to even be near an office window.

I am so jealous. I’ve not had a window at work in 18 years. Recently, it’s dark when I get here and dark when I leave and I only see daylight on Sundays. Human beings were not meant to live like these.

Congratulations enipla.

NICE! I have a beautiful corner office with a lovely view of the parking garage. I am jealous.

I’m in an office with two other women. We have a window–

It looks out into the reception area. :frowning:

Your view looks inspiring!

I donno. The view from my own house is better (IMHO). I thought I would get jaded and ignore it after a while, but it still takes my breath away.

It is really nice to have some natural sunlight and fresh air. So few office building have honest to god opening windows these days.

I blame 1929.
