Gotta share this cool pic of my son the stonecutter

Imgur

He’s such a cool guy, and I think it’s a great picture. Someone was doing an article about the stone company where he works and took this picture.
Working as a stone cutter for a few years really builds muscle! He’s grown from that slender kid I remember into this…man. Weird!

So he’s responsible for making Steve Guttenberg a star?

(someone was going to say it)

Congratulations on raising such a fine young man.

If you’ll forgive a little observation, I’m not certain how effective he would be at keeping Atlantis off the maps; that said, he appears to be perfectly capable of making Steve Guttenberg a star and robbing cavefish of their sight.

ETA: NINJA’D!!!

He looks just a little bit like Matt Damon, but Damon has a rounder face and your son has a longer one.

Not to be all Mrs. Robinson, I’ll just say that he’s a fine looking young man, and I would have had a huge crush on him when I was his age!

That’s a very nice picture!

I had the same reaction to my little brother when he worked at a concrete place, which also buffed him up. He sent me a picture of him holding his two kids, one in each arm like they were monkeys, and it’s the first time I ever thought “Wow! he’s not twelve anymore!!”

Your son is very handsome! He also has a very friendly face. He must be beating the girls off all the time.

Um, you might want to rethink the phrasing on that.

He is a very handsome young man.

That was my first thought, too - if stonecutting doesn’t work out for him, he could become a Matt Damon impersonator!

A-freakin-DORABLE!

I just wanna squish those adorable baby cheeks!

squish squish squish

Wow, he’s really cute.

Ooh, he’s an angel. If his current career doesn’t pan out, he should try modeling. Very attractive indeed!

I was actually thinking a bit young Heath Ledger-ish. He is very cute!

I have to say I’m a tad disappointed - I thought he’d be doing some hard-core chiselin’… But he is a good-looking kid - yay for young 'uns who aren’t afraid of hard work!

He’s a looker! In the totally not-creepy way. I love black and white photography.

He’s spent the last few years learning to do actual cutting, where he can chisel designs into flat surfaces. Next, I think, he’ll start learning three dimensional work. Meanwhile, he made stonework markers for a few family members by chiseling their names. The older folks have already decided that he’s to make their headstones.

Papergirl, you must be very, very proud! And you should be!
