GOVERNMENT REFORM- TOTAL SWEEPING CHANGE

Touche’, Formeragent, you are correct in saying that there is no call to detail your personal life in this forum, except insofar as it bears on the proposals you make or discussions you open.
However:
(1)if you base your interest in reforming the government on the knowledge you gained during your work with the Rangers/FBI/NSA/Whoever, then, well, it DOES bear on your qualifications to make statements about government service and activity.
(2) Never make assumptions about anyone else on the boards, either. There are many other people who work for the government in those organizations, and others, and you never know which of them may also be masquerading behind an alias on the internet. And some of them may well be qualified to critique your statements.

Now then, that being said:
What, exactly, are you proposing?

Yawn…
oh im sorry, you thought i cared…

you were wrong.

You opened the discussion, by which, yes, I inferred that you cared.

Sorry bad timing Felice…LOL that was intended for Monty

before I go for the night… what is it you still question?? what did I say you think Isnt true?? and why?

and second… I think the rest will be best finished tomorrow…LOL

im mentally exhausted by you all…lol

Mike

Why do we still question? Isn’t that the job of the teeming millions, to question?

Hmpht. Let me see if I can figure out what your proposals are.
You said:
WE FIX WHATS BROKEN, RESTORE ORDER, MAKE MORALITY A PUBLIC FIXTURE AGAIN, REBUILD AND RETRAIN OUR ARMED FORCES, REVISIT THE SUCCESSES OF OUR SPACE AND SCIENCE PROGRAMS, LEAD THE GLOBAL RESTRUCTURING, REBUILD THE FAMILY STRUCTURE, AND BEGIN THE NEW U.S., WITHIN 2000… WE MUST ALSO ALTER, OR FIX THE BROKEN GOV’T THAT EXISTS, EVEN THE LAWS, AND EVEN THE RULES BY WHICH THE GAMES ARE PLAYED…

Hint hint… the pot in the middle of the table consists of much more than any human can rationally guess… to include the fact that there are currently, 2 space stations in this solar system manned by over 140 people, and that there arent 9 planets in this solar system, just a few more, that the govt has finally allowed to be “discovered” by those who have known of its existence since Aricebo began running.
We get rid of electoral college, give a tax rebate of 5% to those who vote (and show proof), and publicly open all the files of information our government has that it wont share, to exclude those that present threat of life to currently living people.
Well, just to start things off:

Can you please refer me to the other space station? Clearly I’m trapped in ignorance, but I only knew about the one, “international” space station. References, please.

Also, please provide references to the additional planets. I only knew about the 9 - possibly 10.

What do you mean by ‘rebuild and retrain’ our armed forces? Specify, please. What capabilities are we lacking that we need?

You were told wrong.

Sod off, wanker!

Stop telling God what to do.

Felice, i’ll finish this tomorrow, but heres a catch. Only the manufacturers and creators and officials in Govt know of them. Second, the 2 i speak of, DONT include the international one. And theres so much more to this than anyone can guess… and its so hard to prove, unless more people like me come forward, thats why i was here to start with… just trust me, ill make you glad you did.

Mike

HAH!

Pardon me, Formeragent, but whenever anyone says, ‘Just Trust Me’, every skeptic on this board is inclined to laugh his or her head off. Not a wise move, if you want a bit of friendly advice.

Now then. Very well, the manufacturers, creators, and officials in Gov’t. Judging from how many contractors are involved in various components of the International space station, I would hazard a guess that to maintain two additional stations, not to mention 140 astronaughts, would involve several thousand engineers to design it, several thousand machinists to build it, several thousand various other researchers to work on habitat, living quarters, food/water/oxygen supplies, etc. Several dozen thousand secretaries and admins to support all those engineers and researchers, thousands of various ‘officials’ in all levels of government to push the thing through, fund it, etc. Okay. There are tens of thousands of people with security clearances in this country, perhaps enough that we could put up a program like this and keep it classified.
Okay, we also need regular space shuttle trips up to supply the stations and retrieve waste. We can do that, sure.
What about all those amateur astronomers, though, out perusing the night sky with their Costco $49.99 telescopes? How come none of them have spotted these stations and gone on Action News 5 with them? Perhaps the government has gotten to all of them, and silenced them.

But what are the odds that of those HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people involved with the space station programs, that NONE of them would come forth with the news, ‘hey, folks, by the way, there’s two extra space stations already up there. And by the way, here are schematics of it, and these are the coordinates in the night sky in which you can spot it if you look out your window this evening.’ Why are YOU the first?

Sorry, but I need more proof than ‘Just trust me’ to accept that. Whaddaya got?

Oh, Felice, are we so transparent here?

If so, Praise the Lord, maybe people will start coming here with, oh, say, evidence, or maybe even facts.

Anyways, best of luck, FORMERAGENT, who seems to have no clue where the NSA is (hint: Langely is CIA). Guess it makes it hard to get to work half the year now, huh?

If you have solid, serious evidence about extra planets or space stations, post it, and we’ll debate it upon the merits. Evade and state that you’ll ‘post it any day now’, like Phaedrus and his evidence against evolution, and we’ll simply smile and make vicious comments about tinfoil hats.

Felice, I see you’re new here. Welcome aboard; you see to have the mind and the wit of a well-valued member. Not that I’ve been around long enough to actually welcome anyone. But welcome anyways. It makes me feel like I belong.

What Would Cecil Do?

John,

Thanks, it’s nice to be welcomed. I’ve actually been lurking for a while (if you were reading carefully, you saw references to my work in the infamous Flat Earth debate) but managed to bite my tongue all through that.

Oh, and just for the record, DLI is the Defense Language Institute, and is not an intelligence training agency. And it’s in California, not Virginia.
I just thought I’d throw that in.

Biting my tongue. That’s a good idea. Maybe I oughtta do more of that.

FORMERAGENT: Do not leave or give up. Ignore those who haven’t anything meaningful to say in this thread.

Please.

Phaedrus

Gee, Shining One, I thought you were on meds for that allergy to fact . . .

Mike sounds like a cross between Ollie North and one of those guys on the street who rants at the air…of course, that’s not that big of a jump, aside from personal hygiene.

HUH?

FORMERAGENT,

Why don’t you take it down a notch (I gather you are a long time poster that needed to vent and added a name)

If you want serious replies, then you should first start out by introducing yourself and the the reasons you feel this way.

There are a lot of political debates in here, but you seem bent on offending first before you explain your self.

Usually, as is standard custom, you state your case in a calm and rational manner before jumping on everything everyone says.

I wont post in here anymore, but felt this should be stated, and yes, DavidB needs to drop by and peek in to possibly have this moved over to the BBQ pit.

opinion - a belief held often without positive knowledge or proof.

oppress - to burden harshly, unjustly, or tyrannically.

don’t oppress my ability to have an opinion

Actually Mike sounds like the guys I knew when I was working with the Bureau. If you have known any of them personally you would know what I mean.

-androgynous- Hiya, Buddy!!! long time no see! How’s the wife?

Since Phaedrus “the old man persona” is gone I can at last be myself with you. Whew! I’m glad.

Boy, we sure had a tussle or two. Hope you can forgive me for being such an ass during the flat earth days. If you can’t I understand and I’ll chalk it up to experience.

I mean you no harm in anyway, and I hope this doesn’t disappoint too much but you can’t “get to me” like you could the “old man”. Sorry.

BTW, Mike is for real, so don’t pee him off. Guys like that are trained to play nice nice and then lower the boom. Even if they are asked not to play around here anymore. If Mike wanted to, all the moderators in the world couldn’t stop him from, well, you know what I mean. Don’t play with the man. Just some friendly advice.

Good to see you again!

HUGS

Ken

Nope. He ain’t real. Here’s some proof.

From his profile here:

See his own statements here for proof that he’s not a government employee.

See his misstatements as to being trained in intelligence at DLI for proof that he’s a liar. DLI doesn’t train “intelligence.” That school (of which I actually am a graduate (Basic Vietnamese from 05-05-83 to 04-19-84, grade 83%)) teaches foreign languages. That’s all it teaches.

For proof that both the email and location above are not his handle and actual locale (from an email sent to me today):

You might also note that this was in response to me telling him to “fuck off” in the Domestic Partner thread. You can check his posting of 06:38 pm today in this very thread to see his real attitude on salty language.

In short, he ain’t real–he’s horseshit itself.

Well, now, it doesn’t bother me if his profile and the facts don’t match up. (I’m pretty sure his name isn’t Formeragent, and it may not even be Mike. My name isn’t Felice, for that matter.) I am interested in the Government Reform: Total Sweeping Change that he proposes. I asked for details on a couple of specifics: the space stations, the extra planets, and the military, reforming morality.I’m content to wait for his clarifications on these issues before moving on to my next series of questions:
(a) What changes would you wish to see brought about in our system of government to remedy the ‘issues’ you brought up, and
(b) How can any political party, working within the system of laws and acceptable behaviors in this country - and believe me, whatever you think of it, it’s better than anywhere else in the world- bring about these changes? Phaedrus, if you have an opinion based on your vast experience with the US political system, I’d love to hear it.

On the other hand, someone who believes that there are “more planets” in the solar system and that the U.S. government has the power to prevent any other person or government from mentioning it is not playing with a full deck.

It would be interesting to see what proposals this individual will provide in the context of “reforms,” but I am not going to be very surprised if they begin looking like an authoritarian regime within a few posts. (After he attempts to mock me in his horrible S&G for failing to understand how brilliant and well-placed he is in the governmment, of course.)
