The GBBF runs from Wednesday August 6 thru Saturday August 9, is anybody up for a mini-fest? I’ll be there with friends from about noon on Wednesday, but I’ve bought an “all sessions” ticket and booked the week off work, so I could meet up at any time. You can find details on the fest HERE.

last euston - Birmingham train is normally about 11:45pm
(although my rail planner program “handily” suggests that you could get on a train to milton keynes at 1:20AM, then wait three hours for a train from there to brum - finally arriving about 7:20am!.)
last kings cross - stevenage is 1:30am

Just having seen my supervisor, I think I could have any of the days off, so whenever everyone esle can do it…
this is going to turn into one of those things where no-one picks a date isn’t it.
Well, I’m definitely going to be there on Wedesday from around opening time. This is the first year they’ve done all day opening on Wednesday and Thursday, before they always kicked us out around 3:00. I really like the mid-day mid-week sessions, as it’s never too crowded. I’ve got a ticket for all the sessions, so if Wednesday doesn’t work for some I can always come back.
i’d suggest wednesday or thursday then.
I’d prefer Wednesday, as I have a group meeting on Thursday lunch time…

Getting a ticket on the door shouldn’t be a problem, you’ll just have to get in the longer queue. We could use phones to link up, or meet at the big red bus. Olympia is big enough that a red double decker bus (owned by Shepherd Neame) fits comfortably in one corner.
