Great Lines from Shows You Hate

I was forced to watch an episode of Roseanne during dinner at a friend’s house. One character was in rehab and this quip came up;

“The first step towards recovery is admitting that everyone else has a problem.”

I’ve used that more than once since then. It’s almost as good as;

“Rehab is for quitters!”

Zenster, I hate, hate, hate the TV show Friends. I hate it with a passion and cannot understand why it’s so popular. In fact, the show’s popularity is one of the reasons I became an agnostic or atheist (I forget which one I am this week). I believe anyone who follows this show weekly is a drooling idiot and should be sterilized imediately. Well, maybe not, but you get my drift.

That being said, one of my favorite lines is, “Did you poo in the shoe?”

Don’t ask.

Fear not, JT. I have been forcibly restraining myself from posting a super-snooty reply to the “Friends” thread in Cafe Society since last night. I hate that show with a passion and refuse even to watch teasers for it. What pure puling shlock!!!

I absolutely hate Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. Hate.

That said, he had a line the other night about George W.'s “Roadmap” to peace in the Middle East. Something to the effect of:

Made me laugh out loud. Then I changed the channel.
