Apropos of nothing, I just found what must be the most awesome Conservapedia article of all.
I just read all three pages, and have no argument with what he said, primarily because most of it was ill-informed gibberish. Give a guy Cliff’s Notes and he develops a Cliff’s Brain, apparently. Mr. Slime is convinced of his infallibility, and someday will make some lucky religion a fine pope. By the way, who opened the doors to Troll World and let all these nincompoops in here?

It’s possible. If it’s true, he could be one of those English teachers that skate along by teaching only the simple and easy stuff, like punctuation (apostrophes), who often aren’t very thoughtful or curious about the cognitive processes involved with developing writers. You know, one of those high school English teachers that just like to hear themselves talk a lot, instead of giving students the chance to develop their critical writing skills–one of those English teachers that expects the students to already know how to write on the first day of class, or who thinks that they’re going to suddenly become good writers simply by listening to him pontificate.
That would match his condescending demeanor here.
I would like not to think that’s the case, though, and I think it’s just a fictional front.
Actually, i’m learning to enjoy The Summer of The Trollish Influx. You can’t buy entertainment like we’ve gotten laughing at “Join Date: Last Week” ignoramuses.
Maybe it’s a summer thing, like one of those County Fairs, where the formerly-cool bands (that have to reunite to pay their child support) try to fill a racetrack grandstand:

It actually kind of makes sense. If his level of competence is spending the last 10 years “debating” high school sophomores it would certainly explain his ability to defend his arguments here.

Gotta say though. I joined in January, but had some issues with the authentication system, and eventually forgot. Then just recently I remembered, tried again, and it worked. Now I worry I picked the wrong time to remember. But at least I’m from Jan 2012; much better than those Juls.

I’ve never started a pit thread, but I was tempted to do so for this condescending little prick. I can tolerate people being arrogant, I can tolerate people being ignorant, I can’t stomach people who are both.
Huh. I read through some of his stuff a few weeks ago, and figured that the only reason there wasn’t already a Pit thread was that everyone had independently come to the conclusion that he was a troll and not worth the trouble.
Thanks for pitting this worthless asshole. I hope he joins this thread so people don’t have to gently talk around his obnoxiousness like they do in every thread he posts in. How has he not picked up warnings for that list in the OP? Can they retroactively warn somebody 15 times and ban them in a flash?
I was almost sucked into responding to him in the Magic thread he started, but I couldn’t figure out how to respond to his overt dickishness without catching a warning myself. I didn’t have anything Magic-related to say. And it didn’t seem worthy to waste time pitting or reporting him over. At post #38, he says “It is interesting to note that no one has actually answered the question–what is the appeal of this game?” (for own-thread-shitting effect) after people had spent most of the page doing just that, while giving him way more slack for his attitude than will ever be due. I almost did what the OP has done here, and made a list of the 10-15 answers given before he said that. In the end, not worth the time or effort. I figured it was obvious to everyone on this board that he is a jackass.
