He’s also a rightwinger who cites Conservapedia. The American Right has created a parallel media world; their own (heavily censored) forums, “news” networks & cites, talk shows and so on. A media bubble & echo chamber they can live in without hearing anything by approved right wing dogma, “news” tailored for the Right and one sided fixed “debates”. When someone who has spent years in that bubble ventures out of it, they tend to sound both crazy (because it keeps getting more and more extreme and detached from reality), and tend to be terrible debaters. They haven’t even heard much if any serious debate for years, much less engaged in it themselves; they don’t know how to argue with people who won’t be banned by the mods (or otherwise shut up) for not spouting right wing dogma.
