Anyway, to the OP: I finally just caught the film. This OP is just bizarre. It was so incredibly obvious that Myers scratched his eye with his index finger. You seriously have to be half blind to think he was flipping the bird. Give me a break.
The version on IFilm is a few seconds longer than the other and man… Kanye seems three times as crazed in the extended few seconds.
If you don’t get that my point is that it isn’t blackness, but poverty, that puts these people under the radar of the Powers That Be, then perhaps you ought to mouse on over to a board where less thought is encouraged.
It’s class, not race, that is the factor here. If I still lived where I used to, my non-black ass would be ignored just as thoroughly as other people’s black ones.
The point? Kanye’s making it about race, when it ought to be about class. Because Kanye is a loon.

I think Scylla was making joke based on the linguistic ambiguity of the expression you typed. That expression had black as the apparent, being the closer than poor, antecedent for one.
Besides it being mean to suggest Bush doesn’t care about black people, what evidence do you have that he does?
Yeah, when I saw the clip on the computer with my face two feet from the screen, it was very clear I was wrong and blind as a donkey with its eyes closed. :smack: 
I also agree there are other causes to pit that are more worthy…like when are we going to get another Austin Powers movie, or some silly :wally getting angry about some celeb flipping the bird who can’t tell the difference between “your” and “you’re” and who has poor vision and typing skills (the putz, not the celeb).
