I was the ‘Your Company’s Computer Guy’ character from SNL. Pretty creepy, since I do technical support.
Do you know what’s really fun to do with this (I did this when it was up over a year ago)? Go through and answer the questions as if you are a particular friend of yours. When it gets to the end and asks you if you are a certain character, answer no, input your friend’s name and where they are from, and give it a question to distinguish your friend from the fictional character it thought they were.
Then show your friend the site, and suggest they answer the questions as themselves and see what fictional character they are. Enjoy the reaction when it guesses who they are correctly.
Myself is Carol from ‘Growing Pains’, a show I have never watched a second of.

I’ve played this before, this time, following someone’s clever idea, I played it as myself, and I am now confused.
Who the heck is Alice Richards from Fawlty Towers? I thought I remembered all of it pretty well, but that name does not ring any bells. More caffeine needed.

When answering as myself, it guessed I was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don’t watch the show regularly, but I guess that’s cool and all. However, I said I lived in the Midwest (doesn’t she live in California) and that I did not like “wooden steaks.”
When I answered as myself, it guessed “Sam Beckett”, which I suppose I can live with. On the “guess the show” game, it got Inu Yasha right after a great many questions, including “Is the main character named Sam Beckett?”
What’s with the Quantum Leap fixation?
It got Chris from Northern Exposure, and revealed me answering as myself to be Drew Carey from the Drew Carey Show. Sweet!
