Me !! Whoo hoo ! It was the first time I had ever been to a TV show and of course the first time I was front row. It was so cool. Having Stone Cold and Angle and Taker right there in front of me was almost surreal. (I sound like a 13 year old at an NSYNC concert but WTF.) The ring was maybe four feet away. A couple of observations :
Those pyros are LOUD. When the Dudleys intro blasted off I jumped pretty high out of my chair.
Stacey Kiebler is even better looking in person. In fact I didn’t see much of the tag team cage match (sorry hardygrrl) because she was parading in front of us the entire time.
The ring is a lot smaller than it looks on TV. I think its like that with many things. I remember when I went to my first NFL game, for some reason I was sure the field would be so much bigger than the one at my high school.
Being that close it was pretty easy to see the pulled punches and such, but by the same token Jeff Hardys bump was unbelievable live. Just amazing. Many chants of “holy shit!” broke out after that one.
At the very end of the main event when Angle turned and hit Austin with the belt, he rolled out of the ring and jumped the barrier and landed almost in my lap ! I got to give him a few “attaboy” pats before he ran off. How cool is that ?
I also got to keep the chair I sat on after the show. It has the SS logo on it. I brought it into to work tonight to make my friends jealous . . . it worked hahaha !!
WWF Rulez ! Hmmmmmm . . . can I ever be educated ?
You lucky dog ! I haven’t been to live wrestling event in forever.
I have to say that while I’m not suprised at how the PPV played out I am a bit disappointed with the death of WCW. I had hoped that they would have kept it alive to at least pretend to have some competition.
But Jerry Lawler is back and Rick Flair is in. Wooo, should make for some interesting story lines. OH yeah and William Regal had to kiss Vince McMahon’s ass ! (Yes I snickered)

I have 11/4 SmackDown tickets and hopefully my Jeffy is back in action.
Tonight’s RAW rocked!
I marked out for Lawler and when Flair, the Nature Boy, walked out, well…last time I marked out that bad was either when Spike Dudley or Rob Van Dam debuted.
::takes a moment for catch her breath and to pet her cat, Lil Spike Kitty, named after guess who::
Now for Triple H’s return. He is on the poster for the December PPV, Vengance, sledgehammer in hand…
You lucky bastard. Jeff’s dive looked bad on tv (not as bad as the one in the RVD match were the table EXPLODED) but the big bumps look truely nasty in person. The 2 bumps RVD took tonight were even nastier I think (he caught nothing but face on the 5 star and the 3D when the table DIDNT break had to hurt). I too totally marked out like 12 year old girl at a jeff hardy signing tonight when they announced Lawler. Saggy tittied Flair was cool too I guess. WHERE THE HELL WAS HHH THOUGH?!?! I’m really starting to miss him.

I haven’t been paying much attention to the WWF lately. I used to watch pretty religiously, but I thought it got really lame when they started bringing in all the WCW/ECW people and I stopped watching for a few months. However, last night I watched RAW, and am I ever glad I did! I tuned in just in time to see William Regal kiss Vince’s ass. That was so funny, I damn near wet myself. I really didn’t care about the whole Ric Flair thing, though. “Let has-beens be has-beens” is my attitude. But then, I’ve only been a WWF fan for a couple of years, so the guy doesn’t have any significance for me.
hardygrrl, I hope this doesn’t offend you too badly, but your kick-ass online personality coupled with the fact that you’re such a huge Hardy Boyz fan means that my mental image of you looks almost exactly like Lita.
WHOOOOO!! WHOOOOOO!! WHOOOOOOOO!!!
Keep David in the minors for a while, though. But bring in Daffney. She’s sexy…
Bring back Gene Okerlund so he can interview Flair so Flair can say, “Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaan - WHOO! By God - Gene!”
WHOO!!! WHOO!! To be the man - WHOOO! - you gotta beat the man! WHOOOO!!!
