I forgot to say YAY to **Soapy **- so glad your mom is doing better. Guess several of us are in the worrying-about-parental-units stage of life. When we stayed with my inlaws a couple of weeks ago, I was noticing how old they are. Yeah, I know, they’re in their 80s, but it seems all of a sudden that simple things like carrying slightly heavy items is almost beyond them.
Our shiny new oil tank is installed and working. Just hope we don’t get a cold snap - heh!
The stuff for drilling the well will show up Monday night and the driller will be here bright and early on Tuesday to make a new hole in our yard. Then the guys who put in the new pipe to the house will do their thing on Weds, so come Weds night, we’ll have water!!! YAY!! OK, we do have water now, but at very low pressure.
Time to fire up the grill!
The leviathan that is the property management company is becoming dimly aware of the VunderBob gadfly buzzing around. Contractor lady is royally pissed that I’m refusing to sign her paperwork, and has forwarded my ‘go to hell’ mail to the corporate office. As Og and VBob both have intended…

Hi everyone. Huge project from heck is in the home stretch. Everyone is making changes over the weekend, so I’m on call, but after that, it’s on to large but less annoying projects. Yay! (Keep appendages crossed for a quiet weekend, please.)

The mortgage refinance I first mentioned in January (the one they called and asked if we wanted) will be finalized on Monday.
