Guten Morgen MMP

Baby cornbread muffins are in the oven. The pot roast, carrots, N.O.T. and onions are done and the butterbeans are cooked. MMMMMMMM… da bear is hongry! Come on OYKW and let’s eat. In fifteen minutes when the bread is done.

HONGRY! HONGRY! HONGRY!

They are adjustable to some extent. I bought two, and bought the replacement at a convenient time.

He’s just going to talk to the well guys tomorrow. The pump did finally turn itself off, so maybe it’s OK.

FULL! FULL! FULL!

I am on the county water system but the houses across the road have wells. Yet the houses on the road behind their houses are on the county water system. The houses across the road were built before da cave and the other houses on my side of the road and the houses behind the houses across the road were also built after those houses. Guess that’s the reason. Anywho, I have great water pressure and that’s what matters.

AARGH!

Small gas leak in the pipe to our furnace. Therefore, heat turned off till tomorrow. Temperature outside, three degrees above freezing. The girls and boys will be swathed in polar fleece until noon tomorrow. We borrowed some electric heaters but can’t leave them in the boys’ bedroom. Not safe.

Getting cold here, dammit.

Guten Abend!

Guten Abend! Wie geht es Alles?

That’s the extent of my poor German. Actually, I can read and understand a lot more than I can speak it. Spoke it fluently as a small child, but have forgotten most of it.

Today was soooo Monday, but I’m glad to be home again. It’s is gorgeous outside and about 75 degrees at the moment. Too bad I’m just too wiped to go out and enjoy it.

Shortly, I’ll heat up some leftover smoked brats and serve them with leftover potato salad.

Einen schönen guten Abend!

Looking forward to hearing about your adventures, Spidey. Whereabouts were you? Were you there for work? Hope you’ve had safe travels home again.

Did I see SO here, two weeks in a row??? I am impressed. And ouch, by the way.

Sorry about the general chaos, LiLi. I’d help clean but I’m a bit far away. (And isn’t QuasiDaughter in charge of that department?

Hope you’re able to get the doctor’s office to pay attention to you, Sticky. That sounds like no fun at all.

There was more, but I’ve forgotten it.

Need to read a bit, I think, then off to sleepy-bye.

Hugs all.

GT

It was Monday. And it was a Monday that will teach me not to have a vacation day on the preceding Friday. Oy!

On the plus side one day down of my three day week

Supper was chicken boobs marinated in chipotle lime stuff and grilled yesterday along with a huge green salad.

I need a drink. I think.

Don’t wanna be at work… it’s sunny without too much wind (these last few days have been icky and windy) and I’ve got stuff to do but it’s the kind of stuff you don’t really need to be in an office to do…

That job where you could take an occasional work-from-home day for “because” reasons really spoiled me. We didn’t take one often, but it was nice to be able to.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 42 Amurrkin with a wind chill of 38! Today’s high is predicted to be 74 and by Sattidy 90 is predicted. Go figure.

This Sunday, btw, is when my mother gets married. I got a suit out last night to take to the cleaners. One must look all fresh for such an occasion after all.

StickyBuns hope you get the doctor stuff all straightened out today.

LiLi ick on the lack of heat. Stay warm!

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Rah.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Blurf.

Extra blurf. Days like this, I wish I hadn’t blown the lottery money on beer.

The lottery probably won’t pay off. Beer, on the other hand, pays off as soon as you crack open the can.

Greetings from a well-rested me! I crashed way early last night and I was asleep before 8:30. I woke enough to talk to **FCD **after he showered and dressed for work, then fell back to sleep for another 90 minutes or so. I’m feeling almost human, so yay! It’s sunny out and we might see 60 today. I haven’t decided whether I’m going to work outside or not, apart from hanging some stuff on the clotheslines.

In fact, apart from a little laundry, I have no plans for today at all. Such is the life of a bum!

Happy Tuesday!

Ran a space heather all night and so we didn’t freeze. Everything’s more than usually chaotic because I can’t run the dishwasher or laundry due to lack of water, and TomKitten is sick and attached to my leg. Girls are also sort of sick, but they just react by making baby-elephant sounds and sleeping.

I should tidy but I lack enthusiasm. And heat.

Quasi-Daughter is sometimes in charge of cleaning, but actually she’s fully employed right now so her time is booked. We have legions of volunteers (okay, four) who sometimes clean, so I really shouldn’t complain.
The boys are watching Up. i am not, because it’s too early in the day to cry.

Holy crap. It’s only TUESDAY?

:frowning:

**CatDude **- look at it another way - it’s almost May!!

I wish my parents would stop buying things for me. I was set to go to the hardware store last night when my dad called and said he’d already bought most of the things on my list, and they were going and what else did I need? So now I can’t do that project until I go over there again.

I did get my furniture arranged. The place looks pretty good if I get rid of the empty boxes (I’m saving them for friends that are moving this summer).

It cost $50 to rekey my mailbox. I wish I could take it off my rent, but I don’t think they’ll go for it.

I also got my folding kitchen cart last night. Got it all assembled and in place, all by myself. Getting the wheels on was the really hard part, although I skipped ahead in some of the steps and had to unscrew one side.
