I don’t know if any of you have seen the infamous “Greatest Freakout Ever” video on Youtube, which is a teenage guy who has had his World of Warcraft account canceled having an extremely severe fit of mania - here - but I found another video from the same user (his brother, who films the poor guy’s episodes.) This one, I have a hard time believing is real.
Basically, they buy him a truck for his sixteenth birthday. A real piece of shit truck, badly beaten up and covered with graffiti. It’s a surprise present; when he takes his blindfold off, he gets really upset about the truck, goes to the garage, gets a baseball bat and starts whacking the thing.
I was sure that this guy was for real in the first video - that it was a genuine tantrum which was filmed - but the truck one seems staged and fake. Look at the other cars in the driveway and garage: an H2, a new Dodge Challenger, and some kind of gigantic, flashy pickup truck. The family is obviously well-off. But they buy the kid a truck that has been vandalized? And the dad says he paid 200 dollars for it? Seriously?
Was this staged? Or was it an atrociously misguided attempt at “character building?”
He managed to get that shirt off in about 2/3 of a second so it was obviously pieced together.
Besides, I’ve seen people hit cars with baseball bats, (You can tell what kind of neighborhood I live in) and NO ONE hits the roof or the back. They go in for the windshield. It’s always the windshield.
How could anyone want to be seen in that first video? Why would someone fake sticking a remote up his ass and screaming like a lunatic? I’m surprised that the parents are even okay with their kids acting like this and putting it up on Youtube. Don’t they care about their reputation? Don’t they care that the rest of the world is going to think their kids are crazy and that they allow their son to act this way without controlling him?
Regaring the first video, I must be 12 years old, because I cracked the hell up. It’s fake, but still funny. Okay, so Brother1 mounts a camera in Brother2’s room, leaves, B2 walks in in what I would call hyper-precise, uncanny timing just as B1 exits, flips the fuck out, takes his clothes off (for some reason), ass-rapes himself with a cell phone, leaves the room in perfect YouTube-video-clip time, then B1 runs back in to ask the unseen camera if we just saw that.
There are five of these videos, with Steven freaking out in each one and little bro filming each breakdown.
Amusing at first; after five, annoying.
And fake x 5.
Number five involves a wall-mount design microwave that is sitting in an awkward position on the kitchen counter. Our friend Steven proclaims that it does not work, picks it up, takes it outside, and beats the shit out of it.
Obviously, the family needed to replace this very microwave earlier, so it is now expendable (and broken). The boys placed this old appliance on the counter top - as if that’s where it normally resided - and staged their play.
They should have quit with the bedroom tantrum, which may have been semi-believable had they left it at that.
Am I the only one who clicked on the uploader’s name? Go ahead and do it now. Does “Freakout Productions” sound like something that might stage these videos? Hmm…
If it was real he would have gone for the windows. If real he would have said to himself, “Okay, it looks like a piece of shit now, but a $300 paint job and she’ll look pretty good.”
