Right pocket, phone.
Right knee height pocket, keys, multitool, USB memory doodah.
Left pocket, pen.
Left knee height pocket, one £5 note, spare headphones, pipecleaners, spare wires.
Everything else (wallet, radio, mp3 player, notebook, random crap that I find) goes in my jacket pockets. I just tend to wear clothes that have a lot of pockets in, so I don’t need a bag.
Hmmm…i always thought Indy’s was all leather, but I gues not. At any rate, I prefer a leather one, yes. Leather that looks all worn out, and stuff. And preferably with several pockets of varying size to keep things organized, not just one giant pocket. I don’t want to fish around for things like an old women and a pocketbook!
I don’t have a thick wallet and at 47, I haven’t been pickpocketed yet. I feel it’s more uncomfortable in a front pocket, but everyone is different and the world would be boring if we weren’t.

I carry a cellphone, wallet, lip balm, lighter and sometimes matches in my left pocket; keys, receipts, tissues, and two USB flash drives in my right pocket. This is with jeans. Totally comfortable-- YMMV.
front left pocket: key ring with four keys, a lego astronaut, and a mini sharpie marker.
front right pocket: chapstick, change (if any)
back right: wallet
if it’s close to midterms or finals I might have a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in my back left.
front right pocket of jacket or sweatshirt: phone, if it’s too hot for a jacket, I put the phone in my front right, but there isn’t really enough space.
Right front pocket - my wallet and my Swiss Army knife.
Left front pocket: Credit card case (too much stuff for wallet) key ring with house key, office key, second car key, key from house sold 9 years ago, key from work ten years ago, and Og knows what else. Car keys. Clean tissues.
Back pockets - nothing, unless I’m walking the dog - then poop bag goes in one and treats in the other.
Shirt pocket: cellphone, pens, work badge when I’m not wearing it.
My wife says I have way too much stuff in my pocketses.
Sounds like there really isn’t another option for me than to keep things in my pockets. Even though I keep the inventory load to a minimum (really wallet, 2 keys, and chapstick), I think that the next step is to see about some inexpensive cargo pants - that would give me the option of carrying a cell phone, too. I guess around here I could try Costco, Target, or Wal-Mart. Thanks again for all your input.
I have a leather shaving kit that I carry personal items in. I had to come up with something I could carry medications in. It’s not too ugly to carry around, and it doesn’t make people stare like a purse would and deserves. A phone, PDA, camera, and other personal items fit in it. It’s a leather shaving kit, so you won’t look wierd hauling it around. Don’t buy the fanny pack for God’s sake.
Actually, I have a small zippered pouch from an electric toothbrush that I keep odds-and-ends in - can opener, bike tool, pills, sunscreen, band-aids, etc. It usually resides in my backpack, but when I’m running I sometimes switch it over to holding my normal pocket items, and then carry it with me. It really is the right size, but in my normal day-to-day routine I don’t tend to like my hands full.
Boy, on reflection - I don’t want anything in my pockets, and nothing in my hands either. I guess that’s a recipe for just leaving everything behind. I’m not sure there’s a smiley/emoticon for this one, but it’s kind of  :smack: :dubious:
Secondary (smaller) right hand belt clip: cash drawer keys (only while at work)
Left hand belt clip: Mobile phone (sometimes, I don’t carry it everywhere)
Left shirt pocket: Leatherman, pencil.
Right ear: pencil
From a girl who hates purses and bags…and carrying stuff. I think I’m lucky though, as I have no urge to use make-up, whereas I’m sure those who like to feel the need to take it with them a lot.
Right front pocket: Keys, change, pocket comb.
Left front pocket: Pens (if no shirt pocket)
Left rear pocket: Wallet (Warning: do not sit on the wallet – it causes back pain. Push it to your side)
Shirt pocket (if available): Pens
Clipped to belt: cellphone, PDA, pedometer
Left Front Pocket: Cell Phone
Right Front Pocket: Wallet, Loose Change
I carry nothing in my back pockets anymore. It’s just so much more comfortable that way. My keys get clipped to a belt loop. Anything else I need is either at my apartment, in my desk at work, or in my car.
