Back when I was married, I really enjoyed the occasions when I went to strip clubs with my wife. I would buy her lapdances, and she would get very excited throughout the dance(s). For anyone keeping score in the thread, I’m another straight guy who has never found girl-on-girl sensuality or strip clubs particularly stimulating or interesting. I forward through those scenes in the movies, and I have no desire to go to a club (yes, I have been: twice for other guys’ bachelor parties, and once to shoot a TV commercial for the club). Maybe it’s because I think too much, but when I see those things, rather than enjoying whatever it is I’m supposed to enjoy, I think about how artificial and oddly affected they are, and I derive no pleasure from them. Now, I’ll admit this puts me into an evident minority, which I find mildly perplexing, but there you go.
